You know that my mornings, begin with a good steaming cup, that wakes me up completely, giving me the push to start the day with the best attitude, it is a ritual that I have been practicing for many years, can you imagine waking up by the intoxicating aroma of a freshly brewed coffee, there are few times that happens to me, but if there are, grateful to my husband for that gesture, although I prefer to make the coffee myself, I am already used to drink it strong and my husband makes it a little clearer.
Already ready and awake by the effects of caffeine, decide on the companion for breakfast, it was a weekend, most of the time, I decide for the easiest, I had in my fridge easy dough, tequeños, so I decided on Saturday for the tequeños to accompany the freshly brewed coffee with milk, My family likes the coffee with milk that I make, I give it a touch of cinnamon, salt and sugar that fascinates them, spoil and enjoy this breakfast as a family, they give a wonderful touch to this simple breakfast, the simple fact of varying the menu, is already exciting for them.
On Sunday, we continued with the empanadas, here I had extra help from my daughter Sofia, she likes to fill them, in this case we filled them with cheese, ham and the combination of both, at the request of the public, I had to make coffee with milk instantly; I already had freshly brewed coffee, so it was a matter of seconds. I tell you, that the mixture of flavors between the coffee with milk and the empanadas filled with the described, my family loved it more with the empanada filled with both combinations, it feels nice to mix the empanada with the coffee, cheese and ham, they gave it an extra touch. My kids were left wanting more, I had another one pending and we left it for later.
These moments of coffee, tequeños and empanadas, invite us not only to satisfy our hunger, but also to have a wonderful connection with our loved ones, that every meeting at the table is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of love, to create memories that will last a lifetime; that is why, pleasing them fills me with happiness, joy and joy. I know they are not the best nutritious breakfasts, but what matters is to change the routine a little, my children love how crunchy the empanadas and tequeños are, although I confess that because I was distracted, some of them overtook the characteristic golden color, turning brown 🤭, I obviously take those for myself 😁.
