Happy Friday and greetings to all fungi lovers in this community.I hope this weekend will be a pleasant weekend for all of you.
This week I have two types of mushrooms that I have successfully recorded in my mushroom hunt for this week and to publish today in the #FungiFriday challenge hosted by @ewkaw in the FungiFriday community every Sunday.
Although the two types of mushrooms that I will show today are species of mushrooms that we often encounter and are familiar with, they are still interesting to discuss. The discussion about mushrooms is never ending. For fungi lovers, there will always be a discussion because of its undeniable uniqueness.
Okay, let's discuss this first discovery.
Cone Cap Mushroom
The local name for this mushroom is Cone Cap. This type of mushroom is known for its habit of growing on rotting wood and has a distinctive orange layer on the substrate around the base of the stem. It is very easy to grow in humid conditions, if the weather rains instantly for a few days, this mushroom will grow perfectly, or it can also grow easily under the shade of large trees.
The species of mushroom that belongs to the family Psathyrellaceae or the family of soft and easily broken mushrooms, with the Latin name Coprinellus domesticus
The mushroom is initially oval in shape, then becomes convex or conical and the cap does not open completely. The color can vary from honey yellow to gray-brown, with a texture covered in scales or grains.
It is slender and white in appearance, sometimes with edges that resemble a volva or cup-like structure or sac located at the base of the mushroom stem.

The second discovery. We have hairy fungus all over the stem up to the funnel.
Trumpet Mushroom
Having a unique appearance covered in fine hairs on the stem to the funnel, makes this mushroom look unique and different with its own characteristics.
Panus fasciatus is the Latin name for this type of mushroom. its common name is hairy trumpet which is included in the Polyporaceae family is a family of poroid fungi that have fruit body flesh varying from soft to tough and hard with an elongated shape.
Different from the first mushroom. Because it has a rather hard texture, the hairy trumpet mushroom can grow on hard wood and can survive for a long time in higher temperature conditions.
This mushroom also grows in groups and is usually found growing with several coronbs in one stem.
