Whole of India is mourning

What happened 2 days back in Kashmir is just not getting out of the mind, the whole world by now knows the terrorist attack that striked in Pahalgam area of Kashmir on 22nd April. There is media shouting on stories of the victims, people are expressing their anger and rage in different forms on social media and the fact remains that lives of so many families is devastated. The videos circulating are haunting each one of us, and god knows how long it will take to overcome this grief. I cannot even imagine the state of the victims survivors.

Now and then sparks are there in Kashmir, which is one of the most beautiful state of India on the border. My husband loves this place and always keeps saying I want to go to Kashmir for a holiday. We have already been there once in 2016, which is a long time back, but he wants to go again. The place is truly magical, we call it the Switzerland of India in nature wise. Some times he tells me I want to buy a house there and live there only. But with all the terrorist activity tension I would never want to go ahead with any such idea.

Some times it also makes me think that people who have been living here, imagine their plight because they have been victim of terrorism since decades and every now and then there are families who lose their loved ones. This is not about religion, country or politics, these acts of terrorism are sheer act of evilness. These are dark souls who are lost and the only thing they know is to bring pain and destruction.

My heart breaks watching the videos of the survivors, they have lost their husband, father, brother. Only the man were targeted and brutally shot dead. Who needs to be blamed for all of this? I am terrified with this whole incident and I do not think I will dare to travel there ever or even would allow my family to go there. There is uncertainty of life, not that I fear death, but surely not in this manner.

At this moment all we can do is pray for the souls of those who have been killed, pray that they find peace in their world, and lots of strength, love and healing energies for the survivors. They have gone through extreme trauma and it's not going to be easy for them to get back to normal any time soon. Especially for children who must have seen their fathers getting shot dead.

My heart aches on all of this, how I wish that all of these terrorist and war activities get completely wiped off from our planet and we all can live peacefully with love and compassion towards each other.

This is a beautiful memory of Pahalgam during our visit. It was such a wonderful time we had here and the beauty of this place is truly mesmerizing.

April is a tourist season for Kashmir, even we had been there in April. In April the Tulip garden is open for visitors and it is the only month that it is open so people prefer to travel in this month. The terrorist have taken this advantage to target more people during this time. What on earth do these people gain with all of this and how do they have a heart also to do it. Killing innocent unarmed people, what kind of act is this :-( What stunned me more is that some of the other terrorist groups are condemning this act on media. What a joke, they have set the base and now they act like prophets.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

I didn't know about this news, not until reading your blog. My heart goes to those families who lost their love ones.

Thank you.

It does sound like an event very hard to overcome and to forget, the place is so beautiful with all those mountains and lakes that it's hard to believe such horrible things could happen there. The human brain never ends to amaze with great and bad things and its just that they knew exactly what they were doing when they attacked at that time of year when all the tulip gardens are open and there are tourists everywhere, just seems obvious it was all planned with the sole aim of causing harm and hurting people. People from the area will never be the same specially the kids who saw their parents killed will probably never be the same again, its very sad how things are turning lately in many countries with war going on in every corner, I just hope the entire world just calm down and take a breather from all this type of actions.

True, my heart goes out to them. For the survivors of the victim it is a life long nightmare of what they have seen and experienced. When you hear it is a different impact but when you see it leaves an imprint on you.

It's a barbaric assault on faith and humanity.

Very devastating, when does this ever end. In the last few years Kashmir was flourishing with tourism and now once again it will face a set back.

When people of Kashmir will start fighting against terrorism, then it will end. It's like a fight between true religion and fake usage of religion in terrorism. And I am sure, they now feel the difference, if they should befriend terrorism or fight against it.

True, this incident has shaken up a lot of local people in the region.

This is really sad. I seriously don't know what this terrorist gains by killing innocent unarmed people. Just like you I also wish this terrorist would be wiped out from the surface of the earth

Seriously, it is difficult to understand what these people gain with so much hatred in their hearts.
