29° is not too much, but 40° is really high temperature.

I like warm water, but it's really too hot outside. It's been getting warmer every year for the past three years.
This change is happening almost everywhere, until yesterday we were experiencing up to 30°, which has increased to 40° today. Climate change is accelerating very rapidly.
Agree, changes are almost everywhere. Here, we don't see the end of this heat. It will last at least one more week. But usually after the heat, there will be a thunderstorm, and that's not good.
