And sitting on a tree is more convenient than flying. The enemies of birds do not live in trees but live on the ground, such as snakes and other carnivorous creatures. In this case, tree branches are safer than the ground. Again, birds can sit on tree branches and keep an eye on many of their prey. . Then they can quickly fly from the tree branches and catch their prey. It is also safe to build a nest in a tree, even humans cannot easily attack their nests.
