Named for the country they call home, Canada geese actually can be found across North America. They will migrate as far south as Florida in the winter months. Like ducks, they will fly in a V-shaped formation during their migration, which can help them conserve energy. They are known for their honking and sometimes hissing. Very protective of their young and even their space, they can be aggressive sometimes when they start to hiss and chase anyone who gets too close away. At other times they are calm and friendly, often hanging around with mallard ducks.
