Greetings #HiveArgentina community!
Things come to mind, like the death of my father about 23 years ago, precisely on December 14th. It was a sudden departure; no one expected it, but it happened. It was all like a movie; everything happened in just one weekend. This Christmas was a bit tough, not so much because of the great emptiness in my parents' house. Despite everyone's efforts to forgo making hallacas, no one took the lead. I remember the house was decorated, and I remember my mother, immersed in her sadness. We didn't know how to act—whether to listen to music, dress up, or anything like that. The New Year's surprise came from my young daughter and some of her nieces. To brighten things up, they had been practicing a dance for days, and they performed it. It was, as the title of this initiative suggests, an atypical New Year's within the sadness that each of us felt in our hearts.
