Yellow
Yellow, together with red, green and blue, is one of the four primary psychological colors and is considered a warm color, as are red, orange and all their shades. It is found in the coloration that characterizes the skin of the ripe lemon, the sunflower, bees or gold.
It has positive connotations, including intelligence, beauty, youth, sensuality, creativity, joy and optimism, among others. However, it is also associated with narcissism, resentment, jealousy, insecurity, falsehood, madness, anger, among other negative connotations.
These photos from my personal archive were taken some years ago in a huge sunflower field located on the side of the highway that connects the western Venezuelan plains with the center of the country, during a short and colorful Sunday walk.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Amarillo
El amarillo, junto al rojo, el verde y el azul, es uno de los cuatro colores psicológicos primarios, además, se le considera un color cálido, al igual que el rojo, el naranja y todas sus tonalidades. Se encuentra en la coloración que caracteriza la piel del limón maduro, de la flor del girasol, de las abejas o del oro.
Posee connotaciones positivas, entre las que destacan la inteligencia, la belleza, la juventud, la sensualidad, la creatividad, la alegría y el optimismo, entre otros. Sin embargo, también se encuentra asociado con el narcisismo, el rencor, los celos, la inseguridad, la falsedad, la locura, el enojo, entre otras connotaciones negativas.
Estas fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, las tomé algunos años atrás en un enorme sembradío de girasoles ubicado a un costado de la autopista que conecta los llanos occidentales venezolanos con el centro del país, durante un corto y colorido paseo dominical.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
