On several occasions when I have traveled to Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, for various reasons, I have stayed at my nephew’s apartment, located in the southeastern part of the city—an area characterized by hills and mountains that, in recent years, have seen the development of residential complexes to accommodate population growth.
Caracas is a city with an irregular topography, situated in a narrow valley more than 900 meters above sea level. As a result, it is surrounded by various mountain ranges and hills, notably El Avila National Park to the north, which separates it from the Caribbean coast—a destination accessible via highway.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

En diversas ocasiones cuando viajo por alguna razón a Caracas, la capital de Venezuela, me he alojado en el apartamento de mi sobrino, ubicado en el sureste de la ciudad, una zona caracterizada por colinas y montañas que en los últimos tiempos, se han visto intervenidas por el desarrollo de complejos residenciales para responder al crecimiento demográfico.
Caracas es una ciudad que posee una topografía irregular, situada en un estrecho valle a mas de 900 metros sobre el nivel del mar, por lo cual se encuentra rodeada por diversas cadenas montañosas y colinas, donde destaca el Parque Nacional El Avila al norte, y la cual la separa de las costas del Mar Caribe, a la cual es posible desplazarse por autopista.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
