You can never go wrong with stripes, whether it's just two color or multi-color stripes. Stripe is one color that's not age or gender specific, it's a color meant for everyone - both the old and young, male and female.
Not only that, stripe colors can add visual interest and style to various designs, from fashion to interior decors. Stripes can be used to enhance visual appeal, create contrast, define style, etc.
Stripes can come in colors of
- Black and white.
- Navy and white
- Green and beige
- Blue and white
- Red and yellow
- Plus all shades of multicolor.
I love this zig zag - rather chevron stripe skirt so much. I call it a multipurpose skirt because it complements any color of blouse or shirt I pair it with.
Chevron or herringbone stripes are versatile patterns often used in various applications like website backgrounds, book design, and textiles. It's worth noting that they create virtual effect that can alter the wearer's appearance by either making them appear slimmer, if its horizontal stripes or taller, if it's vertical.
This multicolored stripe sweater is a gift from my elder sister and it has actually seen better times, hehehe. It's my antidote for cold, my trusted companion that provides comfort and relief from cold during harmattan or monsoon season.
And here's another multicolored stripe. I captured this photo yesterday at the church.. The guy is a photographer who came to cover the dedication event of a member's child.
He had no idea that he was being photographed in the line of duty. It's the case of a photographer being photographed, hehehe.
