His lines returned me moments of my childhood.
My grandmother Iña loved her garden. I came to visit her with my parents on Sundays. He received us from his kitchen and made us breakfast with white cheese and a peanut nougat made with his hands.
I loved that visit. After lunch, we were all going to enjoy the portal breeze and the voice that escaped from the pine forest, near the house. But what most enjoyed that little backwater of fresh and shadow, was the paradise of flowers to which my grandmother dedicated her mornings. It was a rain of colors and shapes.
He looked at her care for him and perhaps he inherited this love towards plants. In my courtyard I have created a small forest where green abounds, and from time to time, colors such as miracles of petals that appear between the leaves arise.
This my favorite corner, my refuge in the afternoons, the space where I receive friends, the center of my small kingdom.
I love every plant and like my grandmother Iña, I enjoy the mornings breathing that nostalgia of colors that gives me and accompanies me, while I drink that first coffee of the day and he smiles from a new flower.

Sus líneas me devolvieron momentos de mi infancia.
Mi abuela Iña amaba su jardín. Yo llegaba a visitarla con mis padres los domingos. Nos recibía desde su cocina y nos hacía desayunar con queso blanco y un turrón de maní hecho con sus manos.
Yo adoraba esa visita. Después del almuerzo, todos íbamos a disfrutar la brisa del portal y la voz que escapaba del pinar, cerca de la casa. Pero lo que más disfrutaba de ese pequeño remanso de fresco y sombra, era el paraíso de flores al que mi abuela le dedicaba sus mañanas. Era una lluvia de colores y formas.
La miraba cuidarlo y quizás de ella heredé este amor hacia las plantas. En mi patio he creado un pequeño bosquecillo donde abunda el verde, y de vez en vez, surgen los colores como milagros de pétalos que se asoman entre las hojas.
Este mi rincón preferido, mi refugio en las tardes, el espacio donde recibo a los amigos, el centro de mi pequeño reino.
Amo cada planta y como mi abuela Iña, disfruto las mañanas respirando esa nostalgia de colores que me regala y acompaña, mientras bebo ese primer café del día y él sonríe desde una nueva flor.
