Today Iāll be sharing with you guys about my trip to hunza. Hunza is a beautiful velly of Pakistan and is mostly famous of the beautiful Passu cones and Attabad lake.
Since itās officially winter season in Pakistan its the time of Snowfall in the Northern Pakistan. Ladt year we couldnāt plan to go somewhere and enjoy the snowfall so we did this year, because we just couldnāt miss the snowfall season again. In January the temperature in northern areas is just below threshold so we decided to go in December which was the right time to witness snowfall at the bearable temperature.
Planned the trip with all my girlies.
We rented out the van so that we could travel together and have our luggages with us since we had plan to stay ofcourse.
And then the trip finally began.
At this point we started seeing some mountains but we didnāt expect what was yet to come. Since it was our first experience to visit Hunza so we were very excited and maybe not prepared to handle the beauty of it. We had to travel alot and then finally we reached hunza.
And this was the very first view of hunza.
Watching it from the window of my van, I couldnāt believe my eyes. The mountains were so pretty and the lake was so clear.
Had to stay in the hotel. So the first thing we did was to check in the hotel and decide on to the rooms, set our luggages and obviously take some rest. The we went to the hotelās restaurant and had some lunch to get some energy for the rest of the day.
It was a cozy, warm vibes place to eat. However adter having lunch we were all set to go to our first location which was Attabad Lake.
The lake was so pretty and so clear. We chose to have the ride on the boat, so that we could feel the beauty of it.
The beauty of this lake cannot be described into words. We enjoyed ghe whole day near lake, playing different games and gossiping sitting near it. After having such an amazing experience we went to have dinner and I ordered steak for myself.
The next morning we checked out from the hotel so that we could go further and there was a waterfall place called Gulmit waterfall that we wanted to see for so long. So we went there.
Clicked a beautiful picture where the rainbow was just visible above the waterfall. The waterfall was so pretty and the water was really cold.
And then after visting this water fall in our route we saw another lake so stood there for a while.
The lake had so many rocks in it. Sat there on rocks for a while and then continued our journey as our plan was to visit passu cones and go further towards skardu. I had heard about passu cones since childhood but I was never been able to actually visit the place so the excitement level to go there was insane. After travelling for almost 40 minutes we finally reached The Passu Cones.
I was speechless to see them with my eyes. They were so breathtakingly beautiful. Because of their pointy nodes these are called cones. They were white in color, covered with snow. āļø
We stayed in front of them the whole day and in the evening the view was more beautiful. In the evening we were thinking what can be more beautiful than this view but thankgod we decided to stay till night because the night view beated every other thing for sure.
The only thing in the night that was poping out were those vibrant glittery passu cones. The snow on them was shining like glitter. Had coffee infront of them and it was a while vibe in itself. After spending a whole day here we went for sakardu abd reached there by midnight. Already had out hotel booked so checked in and slept.
This was the beautiful morning in Skardu.
We planned to visit the **Kachura lake ** .
The lake was so clear that the whole city was reflecting into it.
Stood by lake for a while and enjoyed its beauty.
Then we traveled further to top and the vans couldnāt get us to the top as the roads were so sloapy, since there were many jeeps options to go there, we choose this vintage red jeep.
Finally we reached the snowšāļø.
Beautiful mountains fully covered with snow.
The view was amazing and finally our wish to not miss snowfall this year came true.
Took some pictures there too.
And there were stayed two days and ended our trip finally. It was the time to leave the place and go home.
Deep down no one wanted to go home but we had too. It was a fun trip and we made so many memories with each other.
