Hello Friends, and thank you for your visit!
ππ»ββοΈβΊοΈππ»ββοΈ
It is #wednesdaywalk #24 of 2026, and it rained right up to today - literally so I went around the Island here.
So... First stop over to the old house. While looking at the plants over there I saw this "Blow Fly",

And this "Hoverfly",

Interesting to note, they cannot sting and only "mimic bees". They can also hover motionless in the air!
I then saw this "Brown Anole",

These are not the normal "Green Anoles" that change color, they are different. This is a close-up,

And I fed Dozer! First time I have seen him in a week! I guess he "dug in" to hide from the Storms!

Well, I wanted this post to be a bit more than that so I hopped on the bike and went out over to the Park to see how things looked.
And over flew these guys,

And then when I looked down I saw this Heron,

And it noticed I saw it,

And flew a few feet,

I decided to give him some space and went over towards the Fishing Pier,

And yes, the water is very warm and full of Algae!
Across the Channel they are still replacing Power Poles,

And another fly over,

I walked to the back side of the Park and this was the Shoreline looking South,

And another look at the Pier from the South side,

There was a few people out there today - but I think the water is too murky to catch anything!
And so that was my #wednesdaywalk this week!
I want to thank you again for your visit - "Stay Blessed, Safe, and Happy"!
