Wednesday Walk 05.21.25, "Black-bellied whistling ducks"!

Hello Friends, and Welcome Back, and thank you for your visit!

This is #wednesdaywalk #19 of 2025, and for this week I have something interesting - "Black-bellied whistling ducks"!
I came across this pair actually a few weeks ago, an May 2nd at the stream next to the Park.
Here they are just paddling along,

At a given point I must have spooked them as the one disappeared and the other took off right in front of me,

Then I didn't see them for a few weeks. Yesterday I was at the Park riding my Black bike next to the stream and there they were!

Here they saw me,

And here the one ducked and the other is keeping lookout!

Then in slow motion they paddled to the other side,

Here they decided to watch me,

After awhile of that one started eating bait fish,

I watched them a little while and didn't get any better photos so I left and left the ducks to their stream. I anyways do not want them thinking humans are benevolent to them, "their not".

And that was it for this Wednesday!
