Hola, amigos míos.
Bienvenidos a mi blog.
Tao, between Yin and Yang
Hello, my friends.
Welcome to my blog. Warm greetings to everyone, and especially to the members of #caturday.
This is Tao, my friend Mireisy's cat. He's like her son, another member of her family, a true warrior. My friend says she gave him a Chinese name for two reasons.
One, because of his black and white colors representing Yin and Yang, and the other, because Tao can be both good and bad (the "bad" referring to his fierceness).
Tao is cared for with great love by Mireisy. At first glance, you can see he's covered in scars. My friend says they're from "battle," that you can see the marks of wounds from "combat" on many parts of his body.
Tao used to be a great wanderer; he went out daily to roam the neighborhood and surrounding areas. He was often seen caught up in more than one catfight, battling over a fish bone or the affections of some flirty female cat.
My friend says she has treated his wounds herself and that incredibly, Tao always cooperates. He never tried to hurt her, even though the treatments must have been painful. And Tao knows that Mireisy would never harm him.
But Tao is now over 10 years old. He's old, and for some reason, he has very poor eyesight. This prevents him from continuing his bohemian life. Nevertheless, Tao is a happy cat because he is very loved and pampered.
Now Tao has dedicated himself to being a "stay-at-home cat." He spends his time in the kitchen, sniffing around and supervising what his "mom" is preparing.
