Así como exite el día del orgullo gay, también debería existir un día del orgullo Hive. Con Hive aprendí que todo, absolutamente todo, hasta la cosa o suceso que creamos más insignificante, puede ser contenido. Tal y como dice el célebre tema interpretado por el legendario cantante mexicano Armando Manzanero:

Hoy cumplo mi primer año en Hive, una maravillosa aventura que llegó a su día 365. Todavía recuerdo cuando @marabuzal me escribió por WhatsApp y me preguntó si conocía sobre un lugar digital llamado Ecency con ciertas bondades para quienes, como yo, amamos la escritura. De inmediato le dije que ni idea, y a partir de ahí, comenzó una nueva etapa de mi vida. Con la ayuda de @marabuzal, que me dio las instrucciones iniciales precisas, logré hacerme la cuenta y empezar a navegar en la plataforma.
Today marks my first year on Hive, a wonderful adventure that has reached day 365. I still remember when @marabuzal wrote to me on WhatsApp and asked if I knew about a digital place called Ecency with certain benefits for those who, like me, love writing. Immediately, I told him I had no idea, and from there, a new stage of my life began. With the help of @marabuzal, who gave me precise initial instructions, I managed to create my account and start navigating the platform.
Ya dentro, tuve la asistencia y mínimo técnico de algunos conocidos y otros que conocí en el camino, a todos agradezco la solidaridad. Hive se distingue por encima del mar de redes que existen, por casi todas he pasado, pero aquí descubrí un puerto seguro para la creatividad y para hacer comunidad, un tesoro. No es solo un sitio web, es un ecosistema. Un mundo construido con las ideas, historias y pasiones de cada uno de sus miembros. Y es precisamente esa pertenencia lo que me genera un profundo y genuino sentimiento de orgullo.
Once inside, I received assistance and technical guidance from some acquaintances and others I met along the way—I thank them all for their solidarity. Hive stands out above the sea of existing networks—I’ve tried almost all of them—but here I discovered a safe harbor for creativity and community-building, a true treasure. It’s not just a website; it’s an ecosystem. A world built with the ideas, stories, and passions of each of its members. And it is precisely this sense of belonging that fills me with a deep and genuine feeling of pride.
El primer pilar de este orgullo es la soberanía sobre la creación. A diferencia de otras redes donde regalamos nuestro talento a cambio de visibilidad, en Hive tú eres el dueño absoluto de tus palabras, tus fotografías, tus ilustraciones. Cada publicación, cada fragmento de tu intelecto y tu ingenio, queda anclado de manera indeleble. No puede ser borrado, censurado o alterado por ningún algoritmo caprichoso. Cada post en un pequeño legado digital. Saber que mi trabajo está protegido y que aporta a un archivo colectivo, es otra fuente de orgullo inmensa, es saber de que mi voz importa y perdura.

En definitiva, el orgullo de pertenecer a Hive no es un alarde vanidoso. Es la satisfacción de quien ha encontrado un lugar para su autenticidad en el mundo digital. Hoy, mi HP está por encima de 1200, tengo más de 200 seguidores y mis post son curados con bastante frecuencia, lo que me dice que voy por buen camino. Agradezco y aprecio infinitamente cada voto y cada interacción de los hivenautas que visitan mi blog. Hive ha alegrado y facilitado mi vida a pesar de que no es tarea fácil hacer una publicación diaria que casi siempre supera las 500 palabras, en mi caso , y a pesar de lo complicado que es en Cuba el tema de las conexiones a Internet.
Ultimately, pride in belonging to Hive is not a vain boast. It is the satisfaction of someone who has found a place for their authenticity in the digital world. Today, my HP is above 1200, I have more than 200 followers, and my posts are curated quite frequently, which tells me I’m on the right path. I infinitely appreciate every vote and interaction from the Hivenauts who visit my blog. Hive has brightened and eased my life, even though creating a daily post—which in my case almost always exceeds 500 words—is no easy task, and despite the complications of internet connectivity in Cuba.
Mi meta es sencilla, seguir publicando un post diario de contenido atractivo y valioso para alcanzar mayor visibilidad y darme a conocer, ser alguien que le aporta valor y prestigio al ecosistema, y sobretodo, ser leída. Algo muy importante que me anima, es que aprendí a escribir sin miedo al que dirán. Mis textos son sobre diversos temas y me paseo por varias comunidades, entre ellas: Creative cousine, Wordmappin, Daily blog, Hive Book Club, Shadow Hunter y otras, donde he sido acogida con cariño.
My goal is simple: to continue publishing a daily post with attractive and valuable content to achieve greater visibility, make myself known, become someone who adds value and prestige to the ecosystem, and, above all, to be read. Something very important that motivates me is that I learned to write without fear of what others might say. My texts cover various topics, and I explore several communities, including Creative Cuisine, Wordmapping, Daily Blog, Hive Book Club, Shadow Hunter, and others, where I have been warmly welcomed.
Esta responsabilidad genera un vínculo único acompañado de gran empatia. En Hive compartimos la dicha de cada emprendedor que crea una nueva comunidad, como la de Grenn Zone, creada por @iriswrite y @maylink o como la de Theater Inside, creada por @tiolucioviajero y de la cuál también administradora.
