I arrived at the location around 9:40 in the morning. The air was cool under an overcast sky—a perfect setting for reflection hunting. Looking down at the Pasig River, I noticed the water was completely still, entirely undisturbed by the wind of which the reflection of Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands (Left) and The Bureau of Immigration Head Office (Right) was nicely casted at the water amidst the overcast sky.

Then I shifted my focus to the direction of the Bureau of Immigration Head Office partly showing the Binondo-intramuros Bridge and
its sweeping reflection stretching across the water. The grid-like windows of the background structure paired beautifully with the smooth curves of the modern arch.

As the wind began to create ripples on the water, I once again shifted my focus and to check if I can still have a good reflection shot of the Philippine Postal Office and Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands.

Now, somewhat in haste so as not to waste a single second of this once-in-a-lifetime reflection hunting feat about 190 miles from home, I point my gadget to whatever I find interesting—like the Binondo-Intramuros Bridge, whose modern design provides a dynamic contrast to the rest of the structures that survived through the passage of time.

I scanned my not-so-smart phone toward the historic Jones Bridge, the Pasig River offered something else instead—a ghostly, rippling reflection of Manila's storied past: the Comtrust, Singson, El Hogar Filipino, and Juan Luna buildings standing side by side.

Before I temporarily close my reflection-hunting spree—as the water surface becomes highly disturbed by the wind, meaning I can no longer get a clear shot of the reflection—I took another shot of the Binondo-Intramuros Bridge. This time, the modern buildings in the background, particularly the towering structures of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce, can be seen.

This is my entry for the Reflection Hunters Contest Round 277 hosted by @olgavita and I want to thank our sponsors for supporting this community, likewise to our readers and viewers. A pleasant Monday evening to everyone! Good luck and God bless.
