Hoy le damos vida a otra voz dentro de la colmena, se trata del administrador de la comunidad Amazing Nature, @biologistbrito. Un hiver viajero que es amante de la ciencia y aficionado al senderismo. A través de su lente hemos podido disfrutar de lugares increíbles de Portugal.
Jonathan es un hiver destacado, aporta desde su profesión como biólogo, ha estado construyendo en la colmena desde sus inicios, por eso la constancia y el compromiso han sido dos de sus banderas para mantenerse acá. Hoy nos contará experiencias interesantes sobre su vida y la blockchain.

1. Cuéntanos un poco de ti. ¿Quién eres fuera de la pantalla de Hive? (Profesión, hobbies, de dónde eres, etc.)
Mi nombre es Jonathan Brito, soy licenciado en Biologia y egresado de Msc. en Ecología animal de LUZ, nací en Setubal Portugal, somos emigrantes Portugueses quienes vivieron una larga vida en el país llevando las mejores experiencias del mundo, mi padre es venezolano y trabajó toda su vida en temas de petróleo con ascendencia Española, entre mis hobbies está viajar, conocer el mundo, soy adicto a la ciencia y al senderismo.
2. ¿Cómo llegaste a Hive y cuál fue tu primera impresión?
Llegué a Hive por medio de Steemit, en realidad ya tenía una cuenta antigua que abandoné cuando nos cambiamos a esta plataforma. Hive para mí pasó a ser un diario personal donde cuento todas las historias de mis aventuras y espero continuar allí por muchos años más, también ha sido una red social donde conocí hermosas personas y amistades.
3. ¿Cuál es la diferencia más grande que ves entre las redes sociales convencionales (como Facebook, Instagram, tik tok, etc) y las redes sociales que hay dentro de Hive?
A lo largo de mi estancia en Hive ya probablemente conduje a la plataforma más de 50 personas y la mitad de ellas siguen activas, e invertido muchos miles de euros y creo que el primer impacto de Hive que adoré desde un principio es poder recompensar el talento de las personas que de alguna manera otra red social no aprecia o no tiene el enfoque que merece un post.
4. Si tuvieras que definir Hive en una sola frase, ¿cuál sería?
La plataforma del saber...
5. ¿En qué comunidades sueles publicar o interactuar con mayor frecuencia y por qué?
Soy de los que piensan que Hive debe ser apoyado en todos los sentidos y mientras en más comunidades publiquemos mejor será la diversidad de contenido, suelo utilizar, Amazing Nature, Worldmappin, Stemsocial y Discovery-it, son las comunidades que más se identifican con mi trabajo, antes cubría un nicho mayor pero por temas de trabajo ya no puedo.
6. ¿Cuál ha sido tu mayor logro o la experiencia más gratificante que has tenido en Hive hasta ahora?
Creo que crear hermosas amistades y poder mantenerlas por mucho tiempo como phage, jlufer, edwing357, mengao, leonis, ksteem y pare de contar jeje.
7. ¿Qué fue lo más difícil de aprender en tus inicios?
Creo que erré muchas veces en el tema de los derechos de autor, referencias bibliográficas, como nadie me explico sobre ello cometí muchos errores, pero tuve buenos profesores que me enseñaron buenas prácticas en la plataforma.
8. ¿Cómo describirías tu visión a futuro dentro del ecosistema de Hive?
Al crear la comunidad Amazing Nature me veo muy proyectado allí y posicionarla en el top 50, para ello debemos crecer más en temas de inversión y publicidad, pero vamos en buen camino, en lo personal crecer más en mi HP y hacer curaciones manuales.
9. ¿Qué consejo le darías a un hiver que apenas está comenzando?
Que se saque de la cabeza el dinero, como todo en la vida se comienza desde abajo y vamos colocando ladrillo a ladrillo en nuestra cuenta hasta el punto que podamos sacarle alguna renta mensual, si se centra en el dinero en el principio se frustrará y se ira porque pensará que no es recompensado debidamente... Pero hasta el usuario más grande tuvo que comenzar con pocas recompensas. Posteriormente delegar, comentar, votar, invertir.
10. Si quieres explicarle Hive a un familiar o amigo, para que se una a la plataforma, ¿qué le dirías para convencerlo?
No me creerán pero gracias a Hive conseguí pagar un préstamo para mi casa, por ello logré un sueño que estaba estimado para 15 años, lo conseguí en 5 años, cada vez que quiero invitar a alguien a Hive le cuento mi historia, yo confíe cuando la moneda estaba bajísima... ¿y tú, confías en la moneda en este momento?
11. Para finalizar, ¿Has tenido alguna experiencia directa con Hispapro? Si es así, ¿qué tal ha sido?
¿Quién es Hispapro? jeje mentira... Creo que ya me votaron algunos posts y conozco a algunos de sus miembros pero solo eso, les soy sincero las comunidades de habla hispana me tienen miedo jajaja, no sé porqué, pero no me abordan nunca xD.

Today we’re featuring another voice from the hive: the administrator of the Amazing Nature community, @biologistbrito. A traveling beekeeper who loves science and enjoys hiking. Through his lens, we’ve been able to enjoy incredible places in Portugal.
Jonathan is a standout Hiver; he brings his expertise as a biologist to the table and has been building the hive since its inception. That’s why consistency and commitment have been two of his guiding principles for staying here. Today, he’ll share some interesting insights about his life and the blockchain.

1. Tell us a little about yourself. Who are you outside of Hive? (Profession, hobbies, where you’re from, etc.)
My name is Jonathan Brito. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Animal Ecology from LUZ. I was born in Setúbal, Portugal. We are Portuguese immigrants who have lived a long life in this country, bringing with us the best experiences from around the world. My father is Venezuelan and worked his entire life in the oil industry; he has Spanish ancestry. Among my hobbies are traveling and exploring the world; I’m a science and hiking enthusiast.
2. How did you find Hive, and what was your first impression?
I found Hive through Steemit. Actually, I already had an old account that I abandoned when we switched to this platform. For me, Hive has become a personal journal where I share all the stories of my adventures, and I hope to continue there for many more years. It has also been a social network where I’ve met wonderful people and made friends.
3. What do you see as the biggest difference between conventional social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and the social media features within Hive?
During my time on Hive, I’ve probably brought over 50 people to the platform, and half of them are still active. I’ve invested many thousands of euros, and I think the first thing I loved about Hive from the start was being able to reward the talent of people who, on other social media platforms, aren’t appreciated or don’t get the attention their posts deserve.
4. If you had to define Hive in a single sentence, what would it be?
The platform of knowledge...
5. In which communities do you usually post or interact most frequently, and why?
I’m one of those who believe that Hive should be supported in every way, and the more communities we post in, the better the diversity of content will be. I usually use Amazing Nature, Worldmappin, Stemsocial, and Discovery-it—these are the communities that most align with my work. I used to cover a broader niche, but due to work commitments, I can no longer do so.
6. What has been your greatest achievement or most rewarding experience on Hive so far?
I think it’s been forming beautiful friendships and being able to maintain them over the long term—with people like phage, jlufer, edwing357, mengao, leonis, ksteem, and the list goes on, haha.
7. What was the hardest thing to learn when you first started?
I think I made a lot of mistakes regarding copyright and bibliographic references. Since no one explained it to me, I made a lot of errors, but I had good teachers who taught me best practices on the platform.
8. How would you describe your vision for the future within the Hive ecosystem?
By creating the Amazing Nature community, I see myself really making a name for myself there and positioning it in the top 50. To do that, we need to grow more in terms of investment and advertising, but we’re on the right track. Personally, I want to grow more on myHP and do manual curations.
9. What advice would you give to a Hiver who’s just getting started?
Forget about the money. Like everything in life, you start from the bottom and build your account brick by brick until you can generate some monthly income. If you focus on the money at the beginning, you’ll get frustrated and leave because you’ll feel like you’re not being properly rewarded... But even the biggest users had to start with small rewards. Later on, delegate, comment, vote, and invest.
10. If you wanted to explain Hive to a family member or friend to get them to join the platform, what would you say to convince them?
They won’t believe me, but thanks to Hive, I was able to pay off a loan on my house. That’s how I achieved a dream I’d estimated would take 15 years—I did it in 5. Every time I want to invite someone to Hive, I tell them my story. I had faith when the coin was at rock bottom… what about you—do you have faith in the coin right now?
11. Finally, have you had any direct experience with Hispapro? If so, how was it?
Who is Hispapro? Haha, just kidding... I think some of my posts have been upvoted there, and I know a few of its members, but that’s it. To be honest, Spanish-speaking communities scare me, hahaha. I don’t know why, but they never approach me xD.
