Hemos alcanzado 7M de HP en apoyo al testigo

Antes que todo, queremos celebrar con todos ustedes un logro que hemos alcanzado de forma colectiva con todos ustedes. Hemos alcanzado el hito de los 7M de HP que respaldan nuestro nodo. Agradecemos a cada curador, proyecto, comunidad, en fin, a todos los hivers que han hecho esto posible.

Este número no es una simple cifra en nuestro recorrido, es mas bien el voto de confianza de cada uno de ustedes por el trabajo constante que hemos venido realizando y por la necesidad de mantener una representación hispana activa dentro del ecosistema. Agradecemos a todos y a cada uno porque cada voto cuenta para posicionarnos en el ranking de los testigos.

Los costos de operaciones del nodo testigo

El mantenimiento de la infraestructura del nodo testigo conlleva responsabilidades y costos reales que debemos cubrir mensualmente. Por otro lado, sabemos que el mercado bajista ha afectado significativamente los precios del Hive, entonces queremos ser totalmente transparentes con todos ustedes. Hoy en día, mantener el servidor activo representa una operación a pérdida para nosotros.

Las recompensas que genera un testigo en nuestra posición actual en el ranking, 76/70, están por debajo de la cuota mensual que requerimos para pagar el servidor y su mantenimiento en la parte técnica.

A pesar de esto, el compañero @alberto0607 y mi persona @yonnathang hemos asumido esa diferencia con recursos propios porque sabemos que Hispapro es un proyecto a largo plazo y porque mantenemos plena confianza en Hive mas allá de los precios del mercado.

Próximas metas

Nuestra intención es clara, queremos seguir escalando en el ranking de los testigos, para de esta forma encontrar un punto de equilibrio operativo para cubrir los costos del servidor y que sea autosustentable. Esto tendrá como consecuencia que tengamos una mayor influencia dentro de la gobernanza, además podremos seguir sumando en recursos y esfuerzos en actividades educativas, desarrollo de herramientas y apoyo directo a los creadores de habla hispana.

Today we’d like to share an update with all of you on the current status of the Hispapro witness node, as well as some thoughts we’d like to share with everyone.

We’ve Reached 7M HP in Support of the Witness

First and foremost, we want to celebrate with all of you an achievement we’ve reached collectively together. We’ve hit the milestone of 7M HP backing our node. We thank every curator, project, community—in short, all Hivers—who have made this possible.

This number isn’t just a statistic in our journey; it’s a vote of confidence from each and every one of you in the consistent work we’ve been doing and in the need to maintain active Hispanic representation within the ecosystem. We thank each and every one of you because every vote counts toward our position in the witness rankings.

Witness Node Operating Costs

Maintaining the witness node infrastructure involves real responsibilities and costs that we must cover on a monthly basis. On the other hand, we know that the bear market has significantly affected Hive prices, so we want to be completely transparent with all of you. Currently, keeping the server up and running is an unprofitable operation for us.

The rewards generated by a witness at our current ranking position, 76/70, are below the monthly amount we need to pay for the server and its technical maintenance.

Despite this, my colleague @alberto0607 and I, @yonnathang, have covered this shortfall with our own funds because we know that Hispapro is a long-term project and because we maintain full confidence in Hive regardless of market prices.

Upcoming Goals

Our intention is clear: we want to continue climbing the witness rankings to reach an operational break-even point that covers server costs and makes the project self-sustaining. This will give us greater influence within the governance structure, and we’ll also be able to continue investing resources and efforts into educational activities, tool development, and direct support for Spanish-speaking creators.
