Ya tenía ganas de hacer otra piedra de la ansiedad, las que mejor me han quedado estoy esperando que sequen bien para colocarles el brillo, quedan hermosas colgadas en los bolsos escolares, llaves, entre otros y de verdad son satisfactorias, mi hijo me dice que por el material provoca morderlos, yo siento lo mismo, pero no es lo ideal, además el material es toxico, no se recomienda.
Hoy hice un ajolote, me ha encantado el resultado, tenerlos no es solo algo relajante sino hacerlos, la actividad me ayuda mucho a controlar los estadios de ansiedad y enojo por los cortes de servicio eléctrico, a menudo los hago cuando no hay electricidad, ahora les muestro mi paso a paso, espero les guste.

I’ve been looking forward to making another anxiety stone. The ones that’ve turned out best – I’m waiting for them to dry properly so I can add some glitter – look lovely hanging from school bags, keys and other things, and they really are satisfying to make. My son tells me that the material makes you want to bite them; I feel the same way, but it’s not ideal, and besides, the material is toxic, so it’s not recommended.
Today I made an axolotl; I’ve loved the result. Having them isn’t just relaxing – making them is too. The activity really helps me manage my anxiety and anger caused by power cuts; I often make them when there’s no electricity. Here’s my step-by-step guide – I hope you like it.

Tomo tres porciones de foami flexible y amaso tres bolitas, la más grande es el cuerpo del ajolote las otras serán las que comprenderán las patitas, las orejas y la colita.
Moldeo la bolita más grande y presiono un poco desde la parte inferior marcando el dedo pulgar.
Tomo una de las porciones, divido en seis partes moldeo las seis porciones haciendo que uno de los extremos sea más pequeño que otro. Luego los uno de tres en tres para terminar con dos piezas.
Aplico pegamento en cada lado del cuerpo del ajolote y pego las orejas.

I take three portions of flexible foam and roll them into three small balls; the largest one is the axolotl’s body, whilst the others will form the legs, ears and tail.
I shape the largest ball and press down slightly on the underside, making an indentation with my thumb.
I take one of the portions, divide it into six parts and shape the six portions so that one end of each is smaller than the other. I then join them in groups of three to end up with two pieces.
I apply glue to each side of the axolotl’s body and stick on the ears.

Tomo otra porción y amoldo para formar la colita, luego la pego en la parte inferior desde el centro hacia la derecha.
Tomo dos porciones de masa y realizo dos bolitas, luego las pego en la parte inferior y con ayuda de las herramientas presiono para dar forma de patitas.
Con la herramienta de punta redonda presiono para hacer la hendidura de cada ojo.

I take another piece and shape it into a tail, then stick it to the bottom, starting from the centre and moving towards the right.
I take two pieces of dough and roll them into small balls, then stick them to the bottom and, using the tools, press them down to shape them into little legs.
Using the round-tipped tool, I press down to make the indentation for each eye.

Luego aplico pegamento y pego una mostacilla de cada lado para formar los ojos.
Elaboro dos bolitas para el rubor y una para la nariz, estas deben ser muy pequeñas.
Coloco el pequeño aro o alcayata pegado en el cuerpo del ajolote.
Coloco la cadena y el aro de llavero en la pieza y dejo secar un poco.
Con ayuda de maquillaje y una brocha oscurezco las puntas de la cola y orejas.
Ahora hay que dejar secar completamente la pieza.
