The value of a human is not measured by size but the level of impact that has been made. I'm a man of diverse knowledge in different areas, my primary aim has always been to live an impactful life. My life has always directed by purpose which has led me into pursuing different career opportunities.
As a certified graduate of mass communication, a path that was not chosen by accident but led by the unhinged passion to do what is right and a dream of creating a world where justice becomes a priority.
Based on the knowledge acquired as a broadcast student, I have contributed in completion of school related projects, by leading a group of students in founding a community media channel whose first assignment was to create a documentary that exposes all manner of exploitation experienced by the residence of the community. A documentary video that can be found on 3speak for reference purpose. Through this assignment and other related works in this category, I was able to acquire appealing script writing skills that helps turn words into recordings.
In the pursuit of this, I also partnered with a local school newspaper, to ensure the information gathered wasn't restricted to broadcast only. It is a step to ensure the content of the documentary reaches a larger audience, as we are all aware of the limitations some rural community face when it comes to having access to quality information being disseminated by mass media.
Which proves my diverse knowledge in media medium convergence to achieve best outcome and the drive to go to extra miles to ensure the voice of the voiceless is heard. This has never been without it difficulties, as someone who has acquired knowledge from years of experience in the field, handling challenges that might erupt during information gathering and production exercise has become something minor I can curb at ease.
Same passion led me to Lagos traffic radio where I did my industrial training, to ensure I use the knowledge acquired from years of consistent and persistent learning to serve my country in ways I know best. I was stationed in the news room where I worked as a news editor among many intelligent student but yet, among the crowd I climbed through the hierarchy of the organization and became a sub-editor to our senior who recognized my diligence, skill and determination at work.
An unhinged passion that could have led me to greater heights in the broadcast industry but as someone whose aim is not just to acquire medals, I took a bolder step. As a result of my discovery of the decay that exist in today's media industry and the rate at which media has been used to gatekeep information that would have assisted the people in making right decisions in selecting right leaders, leaders that are best suited to serve the interest of the people. I decided to follow my passion which led me to hive Blockchain, a platform that allows to speak my truth.
Which proves my skill set is not limited to the broadcast industry. Getting involved in a platform such as this has improved my proficiency as a writer and it has greatly improved my knowledge of the crypto space and web3 at large. A rare quality that has assisted me in helping many find their ways to express themselves through writing and through other features this platform has to offer. I have also been empowered with knowledge of making long term and short term investment in the crypto space, a skill backed by years of learning, interacting and trading in the crypto space.
With the smart investment made and profit acquired, I have also recently founded a fabric store within my vicinity, Named "Dreem elite garment store" that is situated in a strategic location to help serve the interest of the people, not just for profit making but to also reduce to hassle people experience while getting necessary materials, due to the distance between the community and the city. Every bit of material sold is cost effective to rescue customers from competitors in this business who would gladly take advantage of people's desperation and needs.
This endeavor has served both the interest of the people and also help the business to flourish within a short range of time. This wasn't accidental also, the business was an outcome of months of strategic planning, a symbol of my ability to function not just as a broadcast student but as a prolific and seasoned entrepreneur. This is just one out of the many small businesses that I have single handedly founded with limited resources.
With all this being said, it is quite obvious where my strength lies and how I have managed to do what most might consider to be impossible, with limited amount of resources and connection. Dear investors, now imagine what I will be able to do with your contributions and investment. This is not just about self enrichment but a way to serve the interest of the people, build a self sustaining profitable Ltd. company and also assist investors in getting the best outcome out of their investment, if this isn't an idea worthy of your investment, I don't know what else is.
