‎I find it quite amazing how we humans develop some movies ideas, it is a proof of how wild imaginations can get but is it all imagination? We have to admit how creative humans have gotten when it comes to usage of technology. Looking at how far we have gotten, every impossible idea that used to be just a line in a movie script is slowly becoming reality, apart from the zombies Apocalypse. Humans are creatures that evolve based on the available knowledge at hard and technology being the ever evolving sector in the society has never cease to amaze me.

‎If we were to look back about 20 years ago, when the closest thing to artificial intelligence were search engines, scientific calculator. We were doing just fine in those days but humans evolution is never something that enjoys standing still, it keeps moving and so we moved till we find ourselves where we currently are. With every innovative human idea comes all kind of new challenges, I keep saying the humans are not prepared for the capabilities of artificial intelligence but someday it is going to be an ancient innovation just like our scientific calculator. If artificial were to become ancient, what will be next?

‎If I Was told a chip would help my memory, would I go for it? It definitely sounds creepy. I watched a movie called Altered Carbon last year, a SciFi TV series that involves human cloning and all sort of advanced technology stuff that you can possibly imagine and another movie called The Peripheral that also portrays similar reality of advanced technology being used to transform and improve humans.

‎As beautiful as it looked at first in the movie, with everyone feeling superfly like some sort of heroes from marvel avengers, a specific issue always seems to arrive in the middle of it all when everything seems to be working perfectly, the case of human dubious nature. What most people don't understand is humans thirst for destruction, it is an evil force that exist in us all. We will never stop trying to destroy each other, in every little way possible.

‎In the stone age, where there was no sharp tools, we sharpened stones and animal bones and used it to harm one another, the same is for any age in humans evolution. Every advancement to humans always turns up to be instruments of max destruction. You can ask Russia, Ukraine, Isreal, Hamaz, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, india and any other countries with wars looming around them, how they currently feel about the existence of missile launcher, bombs, guns? These things were actually created to protect humans, is that what we are using it for right now? You vs me war, aren't we all humans? Is there anyone worthy of living than another?

‎Why don't you ask families of dead soldiers if they wouldn't give anything to be with loved ones just for few more minutes, if this is our reality, what will happen when we start installing chips in our head to improve humans memories? It might seem harmless at first, just like every other tool created for human use but give it time, we humans will surely find a way to abuse it. I mean you ask content oriented platforms either Web3 or Web2 how they are currently feeling the heat from the mass usage of AI that is slowly diminishing originality.

‎So no, I want no chip in my head, I prefer my head as it is. You know the most funny truth I learnt from those movies is that, the moment we start having chips in our heads, we will also find ourselves in the Menu of hackers, wouldn't that become highlight of the century? When someone hijacks our body and suddenly our body becomes our private prison. If we humans can't have full control over our own body, what does that say about freewill? Is it not our natural birth right? It might seem like I'm basing my arguments on things learnt from movies, well tell me one thing that exist now that wasn't just a scene or act from a movie.

This is quite funny...

These things were actually created to protect humans

But protect humans from what exactly? Isn't it from other humans? If humans weren't so dangerous to themselves, they wouldn't need weapons for protection.

You're right about the chip being used for wrong things also, because humans will always find a way to turn something good, into an atm machine, which will end up killing the good thing about it. It's crazy.😤

If we consider humans to be the greatest threat of humans, does it not make being human a sad thing? Using this tools to protect humans from other humans, that means some humans are more deserving of protection than another, is there anyone who is more worthy of living than another? Afterall, aren't we all humans?

It's not really about who deserves what. You're protecting from other humans not because you're better than they are, but because you don't want to be left empty when they attack you.
I believe that if human nature wasnt so violent, then we wouldn't need weapons. The need for weapons, is what also showed people ease with which they could overpower those they saw as weaker.
Just tiring...

Violence is the escalated form of conflict, an instrument of change. Which means humans and every other creature that exist on earth are bound to be violent to make things go their way. I'm quite aware of how having weapons can make us feel at ease but my concern is the usage. For U.S citizens who are allowed to purchase guns at a store for protection, any deranged individual could purchase a gun and eventually start raining down bullets on innocent people just because he/she is having a mental episode.

Same person that was allowed to purchase guns for his/her protection, is now a threat to others. This weapons we manufacture for protection and also for profit, always ends up in the wrong hands.

In the end, it's a chicken and egg situation. Were weapons originally created for offense or defense? Guess we'll never know now.

It feels like both 😅

Humans are creative more than imagination. They have made things so easy and simple to meet the need of the masses.

You are right, all those things are created for protection, but now are used to fight each others.

Exactly.
We are the mastermind of our own misfortunes.

Congratulations!
