The best way to combat evil is to isolate it, but you have to have patience and wisdom

I was recently speaking with you, supported by one of President Mujica's quotes. Today I return to you, supported by another of his quotes that touched me deeply.
Many of us often decide to distance ourselves from evils. We decide to ignore them to avoid "worse evils" or because the displeasure or inconvenience isn't worth it.
We decide that this is the best way to combat them.
Today I'm here to tell you to reconsider, as isolating ourselves from the world isn't always the solution. There are times when the best way to combat that evil is to isolate ourselves, not to isolate ourselves.
With that, I want to tell you not to distance yourself from the world: remove from yourselves everything bad, everything negative, everything toxic, everything that can be harmful to you, directly or indirectly.
Just think about what doesn't make you or your loved ones happy; think about where you aren't happy and remove all of that from yourselves. Remove it from your life and isolate it.
Once evil is isolated, it won't harm anyone.
I'm telling you this because perhaps what happened to me or my friends has happened to some of you. For example, once a bartender mistreated us at a coffee shop, and because of that, we decided not to go there again.
But it was the place that made the best coffee in our city. So I asked myself, why should I deny myself a pleasure and enjoy it with my friends just to avoid fighting that evil?

What was the evil? The rude bartender. The solution? Isolate her. In other words, I went, and when she treated us rudely, I called her supervisor, and they fired her.
In other words, we went on with our lives, happy, and isolated that evil.
Always carefully analyze the source of evil and combat it with intelligence and courage. With wisdom. Fighting evil doesn't make you victims or bad people. It makes us stronger, survivors, and better human beings.
Of course, it can't always be that easy. Sometimes evil appears in our workplace, and that's where the issue is more complicated.
I know people who have left very good jobs, where they were comfortable, did what they liked, and earned a good amount of money. But just because they didn't get along with their boss or couldn't agree with a coworker, they chose to change positions or quit.
And that's not the solution. At least not always.
I've often told you to think carefully about all your actions and to speak the truth to the end of the earth. The truth always wins.
If you can't convince your boss or coworker, use your intelligence and dedicate yourself to your job.
In the event that you are sabotaged, harassed, or mistreated, there is a union to represent you and protect you. Never be afraid to use the law to your advantage. That's your right, that's your way of isolating evil.

Never leave or renounce the environment that favors you. Never distance yourself from the friends and family with whom you are happy. Above all, never allow anyone to come and isolate you.
Remember that we don't need anyone to live, and anyone who loves us will respect our choices, who we are, and will never judge us.
Those who love us will never make us decide between themselves and the rest of our families or friends.
Always think for yourself, what is best for you to do or where it is best for you to be, for the good of yourself and your family. If you are not clear about what or what the answer is, just think about whether that way you will be happy.
Truly happy.
If the answer is to isolate yourself or is negative, then you already know what NOT to do.
If the answer is yes, then you already have the solution.
When you isolate evil, you are not only isolating it from yourself, you are isolating it from anyone else who could be harmed by it.

La mejor forma de combatir el mal es aislarlo, pero hay que tener paciencia y sabiduría

Hola, chicas!
Hace poco estuve hablando con ustedes apoyada en una de las frases que nos dejó el presidente Mujica. Hoy regreso a ustedes apoyada en otra de sus frases que me tocó muy de cerca.
Usualmente muchos de nosotros, en ocasiones decidimos alejarnos de los males. Decidimos ignorarlos para evitar “males peores” o porque no vale la pena el disgusto o la molestia.
Decidimos que esa es la mejor forma de combatirlo.
Hoy vengo a decirles que se lo piensen mejor, ya que no siempre la solución es aislarnos del mundo. Hay ocasiones en que la mejor forma de combatir ese mal, es aislarlo, no aislarnos.
Con eso les quiero decir que no se alejen del mundo: alejen de ustedes todo lo malo, lo negativo, lo tóxico, todo lo que puede hacer perjudicial para ustedes, de forma directa o indirecta.
Solo piensen qué cosas no les hace feliz ni a ustedes ni a los suyos; piensen en dónde no son felices y alejen todo eso de ustedes. Sáquenlo de su vida y aíslenlo.
Una vez que mal está aislado no le hará daño a nadie.
Se los digo porque quizás algunas de ustedes le ha sucedido lo que a mí o a mis amistades. Por ejemplo, en una ocasión una bartender nos maltrató en una cafetería y solo por eso decidimos no ir más a ese lugar.
Pero era el lugar donde mejor café hacían en nuestra ciudad. Entonces me pregunté ¿por qué habré de negarme un placer y disfrutar junto a mis amigas solo por evitar combatir ese mal?

¿Cuál era el mal? La bartender grosera. ¿La solución? Aislarla. O sea, fuí y cuando nos trató con mala cara, llamé a su supervisor y la quitaron del puesto.
O sea, nosotros seguimos con nuestras vidas, felices y aislamos ese mal.
Siempre analicen bien el origen del mal y combátalo con inteligencia y valor. Con sabiduría. Combatir el mal no las hace víctimas o malas personas. Nos hace fuertes, sobrevivientes y mejores seres humanos.
Claro no siempre puede ser así de fácil. En ocasiones el mal aparece en nuestro ámbito laboral y ahí es más complicado el asunto.
Conozco a personas que han dejado trabajos muy buenos, donde estaban cómodos, hacían lo que les gustaba y ganaban buena suma de dinero. Pero solo por no llevarse bien con su jefe o no ponerse de acuerdo con algún compañero de trabajo, prefirieron cambiarse de puesto o renunciaron.
Y esa no es la solución. A menos no siempre.
Muchas veces les he dicho de que piensen bien todas sus acciones y si vayan con la verdad hasta el fin del mundo. La verdad siempre gana.
Si ustedes no pueden convencer a su jefe o compañero de trabajo, utilicen la inteligencia y dedíquense a realizar su trabajo.
En el caso de que sean saboteadas, acosadas o maltratadas, para eso existe un sindicato que lo represente los protege. No tengan miedo nunca de utilizar la ley a su favor. Ese es su derecho, esa es su forma de aislar el mal.

Nunca dejen o renuncien al entorno que les favorece. Nunca se alejen de los amigos, de la familia con las que son felices. Sobre todo, nunca permitan que venga nadie y las aísle.
Recuerden que no necesitamos a nadie para vivir y todo aquel que nos ama, respetará nuestras elecciones, lo que somos y nunca nos juzgará.
Quien nos ama nunca nos pondrá a decidir entre ellos y el resto de nuestras familias o amistades.
Siempre piensen por ustedes, lo que le conviene hacer o dónde le conviene estar, por el bien suyo y el de su familia. Si no están claras sobre qué o cuál es la respuesta, solo piensen si de esa forma van a ser felices.
Realmente felices.
Si la respuesta es aislarse o es negativa, entonces ya saben qué NO hacer.
Si la respuesta es sí, entonces ya tiene la solución.
Cuando aíslan el mal, no solo lo aislan de ustedes, lo aislan de cualquier otra persona que pueda ser dañado por él.
Al final, al aislarlo, estamos haciéndole un favor a la sociedad. Seamos las heroínas que somos por derecho de nacimiento.
