I visited the coffee shop 'Koo' this morning. I'd only previously seen it driving past, so it was somewhere new for me. The first thing I noticed was the ramp to the outside seating area. Unfortunately, there was no ramp to get into the coffee shop so wheelchair users would have to stay outside. That is OK if it was fine, but not when you are approaching winter.
Inside was quite trendy but it was a little dark. It's obviously a favourite amongst the locals as there were already a few people inside even though it was quite early in the morning.
We ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and a latte, which comes with the obligatory Biscoff biscuit. The coffee was quite good.
We both ordered cheese on toast with pickle. We chose this option as we had noticed other items on the menu was quite expensive. Cheese on toast was the cheapest! It was good though and quite filling. Overall, it was a good experience with on street parking and the staff were very friendly. Would I go back there? Possibly, but just for a coffee and a cheaper snack. There is a café next door so I will pay that a visit at some point.
