My identity document had been expired for several years and yesterday I was finally able to obtain a valid one at the office recently opened in our town.

As is often the case with these procedures, it was somewhat tedious; however, compared to what I had to go through years ago, it was quick, since the process has been streamlined and the officials we interacted with were very professional.
Como suelen ser esos trámites, resultó algo tedioso; sin embargo, comparado con lo que tuve que pasar años atrás, fue rápido, ya que el proceso ha sido agilizado y los funcionarios con los que interactuamos se portaron a la altura.
@darioreuben and I arrived quite late in the morning and left the office around three in the afternoon, so the sun was at its peak.

Thanks to that I was able to capture shadows of strangers, vehicles, houses and buildings.

But the most beautiful thing was this majestic saman tree, whose shadow was so wide that I couldn't take a picture that encompassed its entirety.
