Tendré que dividir esta colección en dos partes porque literal tengo más pulóveres que dinero, así que en esta primera parte les quiero compartir una colección de mi prenda de vestir favorita durante el invierno los cuales algunos los utilizo por encima de otra prenda de vestir y otros por debajo, depende el grosor y la calidad de la tela y cuan abrigados sean, pero son mis favoritos por su comodidad y entre más anchos sean, mejor, no me gusta la ropa ajustada, aunque eso implique verme como una bolsa de papas. Los uso para salir y para estar en mi casa, no importa la ocasión, esta prenda no puede faltar, claro que tengo algunos diseños que van más acorde a una determinada ocasión y los guardo para ese momento no más.
I'll have to divide this collection into two parts because I literally have more sweaters than money, so in this first part, I want to share with you a collection of my favorite winter clothing items. Some of them I wear over other clothes and others under, depending on the thickness and quality of the fabric and how warm they are, but they're my favorites because they're comfortable, and the wider they are, the better. I don't like tight clothes, even if that means I look like a sack of potatoes. I wear them to go out and to stay at home. No matter the occasion, this garment is a must-have. Of course, I have some designs that are more suited to a specific occasion, and I save them for that moment and no other.

Estos pulóveres no son nuevos, no tengo ninguno que haya comprado recientemente, sino que llevan en mi armario varios años y esto es porque a mi abuela y a mi mamá les encantaba regalármelos y eran tantos los que me obsequiaban que llegue a ocupar todo un sector del armario y ahora los guardo para cuando me quede sin prendas de vestir. Los pulóveres que se venden hoy en día no me gustan en absoluto, además de que la calidad va de mal en peor, estos que me regalaron son excelentes y duraderos, así que los tengo guardados por si algún día se me estropea alguno que esté usando actualmente y ya tengo el respaldo de que no me quedare sin mi prenda de vestir favorita ni tendré que salir corriendo a comprar uno de pésima calidad, gracias a mi mamá y a mi abuela que siempre fueron compradoras compulsivas de ropa, pero no para ellas, sino para nosotras.
These sweaters aren't new; I haven't bought any recently. They've been in my closet for several years because my grandmother and my mother loved to give them to me as gifts. They gave me so many that they took up an entire section of my closet, and now I keep them for when I run out of clothes. I don't like the sweaters sold today at all, and besides the fact that the quality is getting worse and worse, the ones I was given are excellent and durable, so I keep them in case one of the ones I'm currently wearing gets ruined. I know I won't be left without my favorite piece of clothing or have to rush out and buy a poor-quality replacement, thanks to my mom and grandmother, who were always compulsive clothing shoppers—not for themselves, but for us.

Tengo de diferentes telas y diseños, algunos son ajustados y esos los utilizo por debajo de otro más ancho, soy una persona súper friolenta que necesita capas y capas de ropa para no sufrir las temperaturas bajas, el frio duele. Muchos los he utilizado en mi época de estudiante, tanto en la escuela como en la universidad, con eso ya les digo cuan viejitos son, tienen hasta más de 10 años y me sorprende que se sigan conservando muy bien, la calidad de años previos no se iguala con ninguna de hoy en día. Algunos los estropee yo al peinarme, se me solían enganchar los dientes del peine con los hilos del pulóver y quedaban colgando, pero ni así se rompieron.
I have different fabrics and designs, some are tight-fitting and I wear those under a looser one. I am someone who feels the cold a lot and needs layers and layers of clothing to cope with low temperatures; the cold hurts. I used many of them when I was a student, both in school and at university, so you can imagine how old they are. They are over 10 years old, and I am surprised that they are still in such good condition. The quality of previous years is unmatched by anything available today. I ruined some of them while combing my hair. The teeth of the comb would get caught in the threads of the sweater and hang there, but even that didn't break them.

No podía faltar un pulóver de búho, creo que este me lo regalo mi mamá ya que ella conoce perfectamente mi estilo, mis gustos y mi amor por los búhos. Algunos hasta había olvidado que los tenia, pero nunca están de más, sobre todo al observar que la ropa está cada vez más costosa y no dura ni un año, como me ha pasado con unos vestidos que compartí por aquí hace poco tiempo. También me gustan aquellos que no se pegan con otra prenda de vestir ni con las sabanas, porque soy tan friolenta que duermo con estos pulóveres puestos y ni así se me calma el frio, pero sirve de algo. No son molestos de usar como las poleras, son abrigados y no se siente esa sensación de pegajosidad como con otras telas.
I couldn't leave out an owl sweater. I think my mom gave me this one as a gift, since she knows my style, my tastes, and my love for owls perfectly well. I had even forgotten that I had some, but you can never have too many, especially when you consider that clothes are becoming more and more expensive and don't even last a year, as happened to me with some dresses I shared here recently. I also like ones that don't stick to other clothes or sheets, because I'm so sensitive to the cold that I sleep with these sweaters on, and even then I'm still cold, but it helps. They're not uncomfortable to wear like T-shirts, they're warm, and they don't feel sticky like other fabrics.

Como mencione anteriormente, no los uso todos, los tengo de respaldo para cuando los que utilizo siempre digan “basta” y no tenga que comprar los pulóveres de hoy en día por las razones que ya comente y todavía me falta la segunda parte de esta colección, ahí añadí un par de pulóveres que utiliza mi mamá porque me parecieron bonitos y querían ser exhibidos, pero eso se los contare en la siguiente parte. No los puse a todos porque eran demasiados, así que preferí hacerlo en dos partes y de paso ir contando lo que significan para mí porque la ropa también tiene una historia que contar.
As I mentioned earlier, I don't wear them all; I keep them as backups for when the ones I always wear say "stop", so I don't have to buy today's sweaters for the reasons I already mentioned. I still have the second part of this collection to go, where I added a couple of sweaters that my mom wears because I thought they were pretty and wanted to show them off, but I'll tell you about that in the next part. I didn't include them all because there were too many, so I decided to do it in two parts and, at the same time, talk about what they mean to me because clothes also have a story to tell.
