Life in the farm is always full of simple happiness. Every time we visit our small farm, I feel peace and joy because of our animals who are waiting for us, our cats name Monmon and Wiswis, our dogs name Browny and Blacky and our friendly goat. We also have many ducks and chickens who make the place more alive with their sounds and movements.
Sometimes, I feel a little guilty because they are in the farm while we stay in barangay town. My husband always visits them, and I try my best to go there at least three times a wee with my daughter. Every time we arrive, I can see how excited they are. Our cat Monmon rubs his body on my leg, Wiswis runs around, Browny wags his tails, and our goat makes his happy sound. I really feel that they miss us, and we miss them too.
Dur
ing feeding time, it becomes a happy moment for everyone. When my husband and I feed the ducks and chickens, our cats, dog and goat also come near to join, it looks like a small family gathering. They wait patiently, and sometimes they eat together. Seeing them like that reminds me that animals have feelings too, they know love, care and attention.
Having animals teaches us many lessons. They remind us to be responsible because they depend on us for food and safety. They teach us kindness because even if they cannot speak, they always how their live through actions. And most of all, they show us loyalty, no mater how long we are away, they still wait for us with lobe and trust.
That is why every visit to the farm feels special. It is not just about feeding them; it is about spending time with our far family and appreciating the simple joy they bring.
