Hi everybody, good evening.
I just had to share this, I had the most chaotic order earlier this year, I think it was around August.

So this client reached out to me, saying she wanted to make an outfit for her friend who is staying in the UK or Croatia, I can’t even remember exactly. She said she needed a set of outfits, and I was like, yeah sure, no problem.

Fun fact she actually found me on Google, which is crazy because I literally set up that account and just abandoned it. I later went back to fix it, though.

Anyway, when she reached out, she said she wanted to meet me in person. I usually run an online store, so most of my clients don’t get to meet me, but since she was in my city, we picked a place and met up. We finalized everything, details, sizes, style and I got straight to work.

Now this is where the chaos begins.
I started with the trousers, finished one leg completely and had even started the second when I randomly decided to send her a progress picture. Big mistake.

She replied, “Oh no, this isn’t what we want.”
I was like, huh? That can’t be right, because I literally followed the reference photo she sent. But she said, “No, the body’s too small, we want the mesh covered fully, and we want the legs to be more flared.”

So guess what I had to do?
Frog. The. Entire. Piece.

I attached a picture so you can see how far I’d gone before I had to undo everything. That one really hurt like, for the first time in years, I actually felt pain starting over. And the worst part? It was an urgent order.

So I started again, but this time I was extremely careful. I’d make one part, send a picture, wait for approval, then continue. I did that every step of the way.
When I finally finished the second version of the pants, waistband, everything I sent them a video. And her friend goes, “Are you sure this is what I wanted?”

At that point, I almost lost my mind. I’m like, ma’am, I’ve been sending you updates since day one. What do you mean “am I sure”?

It was so chaotic. When the outfit was finally ready, her friend came to pick it up because they were sending it abroad through DHL. She tried it on so I could send a video for confirmation. It looked great, honestly.
But then, when her friend abroad saw it, she was like, “Are you sure it’s the same yarn? The shape looks different.”
I literally used the same yarn pack. The poor middle person spent over an hour in my shop trying to explain that to her.
Eventually, she just left with the outfit and after she completed her payment, they kind of ghosted me for a while. I honestly thought she was mad at me.

But after some time, she sent a video of her friend wearing it, and she loved it! She apologized for all the stress and said it wasn’t her, it was her friend being extra particular.
And honestly, that was the most chaotic order I’ve ever handled. Draining, yes, but it ended well. Everyone was happy, her friend, her, even the middle person. And me? I was just grateful it was finally over.
I can't wait to post to top had to do a lil adjustment.
