Feliz domingo amigos de Lifestyle y pues ayer pensamos que sería el último día en el hospital. Nos habían dicho que a mi sobrinita le darían de alta y pues la verdad estábamos muy felices, luego de 24 días lo que más queremos es irnos a casa.
Happy Sunday, Lifestyle friends. Yesterday, we thought it would be our last day in the hospital. We'd been told my niece would be discharged, and we were truly thrilled. After 24 days, all we want to do is go home.
Cuando llegue al hospital mi hermana estaba arreglando todo y es que el tener ya 24 días al hospital son muchas las cosas que le hemos llevado para que su estadía en este lugar sea más comoda. Tenía una Caba para el hielo, un ventilador, ropa, platos, cubiertos, todas las cosas de la bebé. Entonces había que acomodar todo bastante bien.
When I arrived at the hospital, my sister was getting everything ready. Having been in the hospital for 24 days, we'd brought a lot of things to make her stay more comfortable. She had an ice kennel, a fan, clothes, dishes, cutlery, all the baby's things. So, everything had to be arranged pretty neatly.
Mientras arreglamos todo mi hermana me enseñó un vestido y un gorrito que le mando a hacer a la bebé para sacarla del hospital. Mando a hacer está ropa para que combine con una manta de flores que tiene que es hermosa.
While we were getting everything ready, my sister showed me a dress and a hat she had made for the baby to take her out of the hospital. I had these clothes made to match a beautiful floral blanket she has.
Pero cuando ya teníamos casi todo listo nos informaron que la bebé no se podía ir a casa ya que faltaba colocarle un medicamento en la noche. Así que pues no nos quedó de otra que relajarnos y terminar de hacer unas cosas que nos faltaban.
But when we had almost everything ready, we were informed that the baby couldn't go home because she needed to be given medication for the night. So we had no choice but to relax and finish some things we still had to do.
Nos dieron el resumen de egreso y tuve que salir del hospital a buscar un lugar para sacar unas copias que nos estaban pidiendo y pues ya tener todo esto listo. Han sido días bastante fuertes pero agradezco haber Sido de gran apoyo para mi hermana y no dejarla sola en estos momentos que tanto apoyo necesitaba.
They gave us the discharge summary, and I had to leave the hospital to find a place to make some copies they were asking for and get everything ready. These have been some tough days, but I'm grateful for being such a great support to my sister and not leaving her alone during these times when she needed so much support.
Cuando ya me iba del hospital hacía falta un examen y no lo encontraban, mi hermana tenía una foto que estaba un poco borrosa pero aún así nos servía así que tenía que buscar donde imprimir está foto.
When I was leaving the hospital, I needed a test and they couldn't find it. My sister had a photo that was a little blurry but still useful, so I had to find a place to print this photo.
Aproveche de ir a la farmacia pies necesitaba comprar varias medicinas para mi mamá, también un shampoo para la caspa y aproveché de comprar un chocolate. Estos días han Sido tan movidos para mí, pues me toca hacer mil cosas en un día.
I took advantage of the trip to the pharmacy because I needed to buy several medicines for my mom, as well as a dandruff shampoo, and I also took the opportunity to buy some chocolate. These past few days have been so busy for me, as I have to do a thousand things in one day.
Y finalmente logré encontrar un lugar donde imprimir el examen que hacía falta y llevarlo al hospital. Nunca había pasado tanto tiempo en el hospital como este último mes, pero nada de lo que hacemos con amor nos pesa.
And I finally managed to find a place to print the necessary test and take it to the hospital. I've never spent so much time in the hospital as I have this past month, but nothing we do with love weighs on us.
