Estos días han sido bastantes movidos y sobre todo mi familia me ha consentido mucho ya que yo decía que quería pasear y conocer algunos lugares del estado Anzoátegui y es que yo me estoy quedando en puerto la cruz y el jueves una de mis primas me invitó a que fuéramos a una piscina que quedaba en otro municipio. Nos fuimos hasta Píritu que fue un poco más de una hora de viaje pero la pasamos muy bien.
These past few days have been quite busy, and my family has been especially spoiling me since I kept saying I wanted to travel and see some places in Anzoátegui state. I'm staying in Puerto La Cruz, and on Thursday one of my cousins invited me to go to a swimming pool in another municipality. We went all the way to Píritu, which was a little over an hour's drive, but we had a great time.
Así que nos montamos en los carros y comenzó el viaje por carretera. Debo decir que sentí que uno de mis primos manejo muchísimo, antes de llegar hasta donde íbamos pasamos por un peaje y nos quedamos sin señal de celular. También aprovechamos de desayunar, yo tenía muchas ganas de una malta. Luego de desayunar seguimos en el camino para llegar al lugar donde era la piscina.
So we got in the cars and the road trip began. I have to say, I felt like one of my cousins drove a lot. Before we got to where we were going, we went through a tollbooth and lost cell service. We also took the opportunity to have breakfast; I was really craving a malt. After breakfast, we continued on our way to the place where the pool was.
Llegamos a Píritu y llegamos a casa de un familiar de mi prima para verificar que teníamos todo lo que íbamos a necesitar en la piscina. Llevamos comida, bebidas y algunos snacks.
We arrived in Píritu and went to my cousin's relative's house to make sure we had everything we would need at the pool. We brought food, drinks, and some snacks.
Llegamos al lugar donde estaba la piscina. El lugar se llamaba la rinconera y era un espacio muy amplio y muy lindo. Este lugar tenía dos piscinas una para niños y otra piscina para adultos. Unas áreas verdes hermosas, muchas mesas para las personas que van llegando. Este lugar tiene un costo de 5$ la entrada y puedes llegar desde las 9 am hasta las 6 pm.
We arrived at the pool area. It was called La Rinconera and was a very spacious and lovely place. It had two pools, one for children and one for adults. There were beautiful green areas and plenty of tables for visitors. The entrance fee was $5, and it was open from 9 am to 6 pm.
Nos fuimos poniendo cómodos y comenzamos a tomarnos fotos con mis primos y es que yo debo decir que he sido muy afortunada por estar tan rodeada de mi familia en estos momentos y es que como ví hace días en un Reels en Instagram es que por un momento pensé que moría pero mi familia no dejo que eso pasará. Y es que en este momento tan difícil mi familia me ha salvado.
We got comfortable and started taking pictures with my cousins. I have to say, I've been so lucky to be surrounded by my family right now. Like I saw in an Instagram Reel a few days ago, I thought I was going to die for a moment, but my family wouldn't let that happen. They've saved me during this difficult time.

A alguien que debo agradecer mucho es a mi prima. Y es que ella me acompaño en la distancia con la enfermedad de mi mamá y ella fue a la isla pocos días antes de que mi mamá muriera y me ayudó a cuidarla por un par de días y desde que llegué a puerto la cruz ella a estado muy pendiente de mi. Ella sabe un poco lo que estoy pasando ya que ella también perdió a su mamá hace 5 años. Es maravilloso contar con tanto apoyo y que ella me ayude a transitar el camino del duelo.
Someone I owe a great deal of gratitude to is my cousin. She was there for me from afar during my mother's illness, and she came to the island a few days before my mother passed away and helped me care for her for a couple of days. Since I arrived in Puerto La Cruz, she has been very attentive to me. She understands a little of what I'm going through because she also lost her mother five years ago. It's wonderful to have so much support and for her to be helping me through this grieving process.
Disfrutamos mucho de la piscina, nos tomamos algunas fotos y disfrutamos mucho de el sol y la piscina. También me coloque mucho protector solar para no quemarme mucho.
We really enjoyed the pool, took some pictures, and soaked up the sun. I also put on plenty of sunscreen so I wouldn't get too sunburned.
Ya que queríamos disfrutar y no estar cocinando mucho, decidimos preparar una ensalada de pasta con atún. Y como éramos aproximadamente 20 personas preparamos una gran cantidad de ensalada de pasta y estaba deliciosa. La pasé muy bien y disfrute mucho de este viaje a otro municipio.
Since we wanted to relax and not spend too much time cooking, we decided to make a pasta salad with tuna. And since there were about 20 of us, we made a large batch, and it was delicious. I had a great time and really enjoyed this trip to another town.
