In my quest for more knowledge, I am learning more about all the cards in Splinterlands and the reason for this is so that I can develop better strategies with them.

Today I will talk about the Dark Ha'on card, a monster from the Untamed edition that belongs to the Death deck and that is very useful in battles since it is an excellent defense and also an excellent source of damage in battle.
Dark Ha'on's attack type is melee and it has 5 abilities, which are: Taunt, Flying, Scavenger, Void and Magic Reflect.

Taunt - This ability makes Dark Ha'on the main target of enemy attacks, the only exceptions are monsters that have the Scattershot ability because they attack randomly and when Dark Ha'on is not in the first position, because the enemy monsters in the first position will attack the monsters that are in the first position, this also applies to monsters with the Reach ability.

Flying - This ability gives Dark Ha'on +25% chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks against monsters that do not have the Flying ability.

Scavenger - This ability gives Dark Ha'on +1 health every time a monster is defeated in battle, whether it is an ally or enemy monster.

Void - This ability makes Dark Ha'on only receive half damage against magic attacks, this is a great defense for monsters with magic attacks.

Magic Reflect - This ability makes Dark Ha'on return 50% of the magic damage received, this means that if a monster with a magic attack attacks Dark Ha'on, that monster will receive 50% of the damage it causes to Dark Ha'on.
With this combination of abilities, Dark Ha'on is a great defense for all types of attacks because the Flying ability will help him against melee and ranged attacks, while the Void ability and Magic Reflect ability will help him against magic attacks.
Since Dark Ha'on has the Taunt ability, one of my favorite strategies for him is to use monsters that have healing abilities, this way I can keep Dark Ha'on alive in battle for longer.
The only disadvantage I can see in Dark Ha'on is that its mana cost is high, so it cannot be used easily in any battle. I only use it when the battle has a lot of mana available or in specific battles where I know that Dark Ha'on will give me a good chance of victory.
