Hello fellow hivers. This is my first time posting in this community and I will be glad to share you all my amazing drinks I have made.

I woke up this morning not feeling well and a little bit feeling pain on my side portion of my body. I was confused and felt nervous and afraid at the same cause what if I will urinate with a blood on it again? This is my signs for having urinate of blood though it's not my first time urinated with blood but still I'm afraid of it, so difficult to pee and the feeling of discomfort are all there. So I decided to make a drinks or a tea out of the boiled peperomia pellucida known as the shining bush plant or what we called here "pansit-pansitan" and another term for that in tagalog is "ulasimang bato". This is what my brother in law suggested when I was recovering from my heart surgery and after 3 months I urinated with a sticky blood. To boiled a peperomia plant and drink it every day. And as what I've search on the google it's called hematuria but I haven't consulted a doctor on my condition. Only my cardiologist said that I have to control or make half tablet of my warfarin dosage because it's a medicine for blood to avoid from bleeding or causing blood clot. So I followed what my doctor instructed me and up until now I haven't experienced those pain and urinated a blood. But this time I have to be careful, in order to avoid some health issues I would be more watchful for now. I noticed there are lots of peperomia plants in our backyard so I got an idea to make a tea and consumed it daily. But we should refrigerate it after cooling down the drinks to avoid form spoilage.

What is Peperomia pellucida plants:
Peperomia pellucida (also known by common names pepper elder, shining bush plant, crab claw herb, and man to man) is an annual, shallow-rooted herb, usually growing to a height of about 15 to 45 cm (6 to 18 inches), it is characterized by succulent stems, shiny, heart-shaped, fleshy leaves and tiny, dot-like seeds attached to several fruiting spikes. It has a mustard-like odor when crushed.

Uses:
Peperomia pellucida has been used as a food item as well as a medicinal herb. Although mostly grown for its ornamental foliage, the entire plant is edible, both cooked and raw.
Traditional Medicine:
Ethnomedicinal uses for the plant vary. P. pellucida has been used for treating abdominal pain, abscesses, acne, boils, colic, fatigue, gout, headache, renal disorders, and rheumatic joint pain. In Bolivia, Alteños Indians use the whole plant to stop hemorrhages. The roots are used to treat fevers and the aerial parts are used as dressing for wounds. In northeastern Brazil, the plant has been used to lower cholesterol. In Guyana and the Amazon region, it is a popular cough suppressant, emollient, and diuretic. It is also used to treat proteinuria. It is also used topically for skin disorders such as acne and boils. In the western parts of Nigeria, it is used as water extract in the treatment of high blood pressure and urinary tract infections and insomnia. In the Philippines, it is one of the 10 medicinal plants endorsed by the Department of Health. It is used to decrease uric acid levels, which is a cause of arthritis and gout. It can be used as a decoction or eaten raw as a salad.
Potential benefits of peperomia pellucida tea/drinks
Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory: Studies suggest it contains compounds that may help fight inflammation and oxidative stress.
Blood pressure: Traditional uses include lowering blood pressure, and some research supports this potential.
Other traditional uses: It has been used to treat various ailments like skin sores, gastrointestinal issues, and more.

To prepare the drink or tea:
Ingredients:
peperomia pellucida plant (all parts of the plants and the quantity much better if its many)
4 liters of water
Preparation:
Wash the peperomia pellucida plants thoroughly. Then put in a cooking pot put all the peperomia pellucida plans and pour the 4 liter of water and bring it to boil. When it boils, I waited for almost 15-30 minutes in a medium heat until the water reduces for awhile. Next put off the fire and wait for another 10 minutes before transferring it to a glass. After it cools down, strain the leaves and put it on a glass or jar for storing and it's best to drink when it's warm. For some sweetness you can also add a honey but we don't have available, so I drink it warm without adding sugar or honey. I transferred also the remaining into a glass and this time it produces 3 liter of peperomia pellucida tea.
STEP 1. Wash and drain.

Step 2: Bring to boil.


Step 3: Let it cool before transferring to a jar or glass.

Step 4: Transferred and I made 3 liters and 1 glass of tea from peperomia plants and I will consumed it daily.
