Forgiveness of sins - MCGI TOPIC|THE OLDPATH

‎While sin brought devastation and separated us from God, it also created the need for redemption and through that, the opportunity to experience the overwhelming love and grace of ‎God.

Sin entered the world by reason of disobedience of Adam and Eve. That one act of rebellion affected humanity's relationship with God and subjected us to spiritual death, making us, by nature, children of wrath, according to Ephesians 2:3. But God, in His great mercy, sent Jesus Christ to take our place.

On the cross, Jesus bore our sin, defeated its power and opened the way for us to be reconciled to God. Because of the sacrifice of Christ, we are no longer slaves to sin. We have been forgiven, reconciled with God, redeemed and adopted as children of God. The devil has no legal access to us unless we willingly drift away from the grace we've been given.

How do we remain under God's grace and protection? By serving Him out of love, not merely for what we stand to gain. When you genuinely love, serve Him, your faith will endure, even when tested by challenges, pain or loss. Victory does not come cheap. Without Christ's death, burial and resurrection, there would not have been triumph over sin and darkness.
