Today, I'm sharing some shadows taken yesterday between 12:30 p.m. and approximately 4 p.m., when the sun was shining directly on several brick walls belonging to the Paraparaumu high school, right at the entrance to the school building. Specifically, the school auditorium is the building itself.
While we are registering students, there's always a magical moment to capture shadows, and on this occasion, the shadows obtained are the reflections on the walls of the plants and bushes near the structures.
The ideal is to take them out at those specific times, and also with the added advantage that they are outdoor shadows, where more defined and beautiful shadows are produced. It's more difficult to obtain them inside the high school, since the sun doesn't shine directly but rather circumstantially in some spaces.
These concrete structures, specifically brick, look very aesthetically pleasing to the eye because the orange color stands out a bit, and the fact that there are many bricks at once creates visual harmony in the spaces. In this high school, most of the walls have that beautiful and elegant finish.
