As a student who just signed out from uni. Haven't visited home ever since I signed out in July.
I mean this is the longest have stayed without seeing my boyfriend (my dad). During this period, what surprised me most was the part that my parents didn't even disturb me to come visiting. They let me enjoyed my new adulthood without being treated like the little baby they had known.
But truth be told, I have missed them. I had missed my dad breakfast on bed. But I don't want to show cause I promised them that after school I will act like a big girl to them and they'll be begging me.
I just wanted to fulfilled this, so I became a strong girl overnight.

Fast forward to this season, I didn't know my parents had missed me too and we were both forming for each other.
My dad didn't even wait, he asked when I'm coming home for Christmas break abi...big girl life no go gree..
I could not wait, I fixed a date which was yesterday. At first they were arguing is too far, I should travel before 19th of this month. After long argument, they agreed to be yesterday

When the day dawn, I had to tidy up my room, loose my sewing machine and getting everything done.
I didn't used water this time around, I used land.
The road was terrible and I wished I had listened to myself to use water.
If there's anyone who has passed through Calabar to Akwa Ibom road, you should have a reason to lay before God that thank him upon arrival.
The part where you have to passed with the big trucks coupled with the terrible road.

On the scale of 1_10, I will rate my journey 5/ 10. The five marks goes to the people I boarded the vehicle together. we all turn family members inside bus.
It was fun and the driver was well mannered not like the others I know of.
But the terrible road ruined all the good and happy moments.
I'm happy I got home saved.
When I got in, I was welcomed by my parents and cousins who could not even wait to see me.
It's such a beautiful thing to have a family like this.
