I love these topics The Silverbloggers Chronicles - Prompt #11 - Your best friend from childhood, because it allows me to immortalize my special people and moments, as well as share part of my story. On this occasion, thanks to this new initiative, I am going to introduce you to my best friend, Daysi.

I met her when I was 10 years old, at the new school I started attending after one of the many moves I've had throughout my life. We clicked right from the start. Although I was quite shy and she had a very popular personality, despite our differences, we began a friendship that has lasted to this day. Now we are both 53 years old. Imagine everything we have shared, from our first experiences in many things, laughter, mischief, tears, sadness, and even grief...

It has been a long life together, thank God, and I hope we continue to add more stories to our collection. Right now, she is not close to me or her family. She has been in Chile for several years and has only visited once, for financial reasons. That time, we did a little bit of everything, reminiscing about old times, but now with the maturity that comes with experience and age. It was very nice to see her after such a long time.

But like everything in life, she had to return for work reasons. Her absence was felt again, but that's how things are sometimes. However, as with everything, there are alternatives, and thanks to technology, we keep in touch through social media. We make video calls and, through them, we keep up to date with our lives despite the distance. It's as if she were sometimes by my side, although I miss the hugs. Still, the affection between us continues to endure.

We have always said to each other, since we were young and saw the years passing, we wondered, what would we be like at 30, 40, or 50? Today we know, now we imagine ourselves as old ladies sharing our stories with our grandchildren and family, we imagine ourselves as mischievous old ladies, hahaha, and well, here we go.

We don't have any photos of ourselves as girls, which is hard to believe, so I'll share some that we took when technology was within our reach. With our families and other mutual friends. Looking through this photo album, I've realized that a lot of water has flowed under the bridge, hahaha, and that there's quite a story behind these photos, but it also reaffirms to me that true friendship is the kind that survives the vicissitudes of life and the changes we all go through as we mature.

In our case, it has been for the better, and our friendship remains intact despite marriages, divorces, moves, and even changes in character, moods, and so on. It hasn't been easy, but we've made it, so I present to you my dear sister-friend, who has earned her place as my best friend from my early years.

Me encantan estas tematicas The Silverbloggers Chronicles - Prompt #11 - Your best friend from childhood, porque me permite inmortalizar a mis personas y momentos especiales, aparte de compartir parte de mi historia y en esta ocasión gracias a esta nueva iniciativa les voy a presentar a mi mejor amiga Daysi.

A ella la conocí desde mis 10 años, en el nuevo colegio que entre a estudiar luego de una de las tantas mudanzas que he tenido a lo largo de mi vida. Desde un inicio hicimos clic, aunque yo era bastante tímida y ella era de una personalidad bastante popular a pesar de nuestras diferencias, comenzamos una amistad que ha perdurado hasta la actualidad; ya hoy en día las dos tenemos 53 años, imagínense todo lo que hemos compartido, desde nuestras primeras experiencias en muchas cosas, las risas, travesuras, lagrimas, tristezas incluso duelos...

Ha sido una larga vida juntas, gracias a Dios y espero que sigamos contando y sumando mas historias. Ahora mismo ella no se encuentra cerca de mi ni de su familia, esta en Chile desde hace algunos años, ha venido una sola vez, por cuestiones economicas, y esa vez hicimos de todo un poco, recordando viejos tiempos, pero ya con la madurez que dan las experiencias y los años, fue muy agradable verla luego de un buen tiempo.

Pero como todo en la vida, debio retornar por cuestiones laborales. Se sintio de nuevo su ausencia, pero asi son las cosas en ocasiones, pero como para todo hay alternativas y gracias a la tecnologia nos mantenemos en contacto por las redes, nos hacemos videollamadas y por medio de ellas, nos mantenemos al dia con nuestras vidas a pesar de la distancia, es como si la tuviera a veces al lado, aunque los abrazos se extrañan, igual el cariño sigue perdurando entre nosotras.

Siempre nos hemos dicho, desde que eramos jovenes y veiamos que pasaban los años y nos preguntabamos, ¿como seriamos a los 30, 40 o 50? hoy dia ya lo sabemos, ahora nos imaginamos de viejitas compartiendo nuestras historias a nietos y familia, nos imaginamos como unas viejitas bien traviesas jajajajaja y bueno para alla vamos.

De chicas no tenemos fotos, parece mentira asi que les compartire algunas que nos hemos tomado cuando ya la tecnologia estaba al alcance de nuestras manos. Con nuestras familias y con otros amigos en comun; buscando este album de fotos me he dado cuenta de que mucha agua ha recorrido estos dos rios jajajaja y que la historia que hay detras de ellas es bastante, pero aparte me reafirma, que la verdadera amistad es la que sobrevive al tiempo a las vicisitudes de la vida y a los cambios que todos vamos sufriendo a medida de que vamos madurando.

Que en nuestro caso ha sido para bien y que nuestra amistad sigue intacta a pesar de casamientos, divorcios, mudanzas e incluso cambios de carácter, humores y demás, no ha sido fácil, pero se ha logrado, así es que esta que les presento mi querida hermana- amiga se ha ganado con todas las de la ley ese lugar de la mejor amiga de mis primeros años.
