This week, we went to see some beautiful blooming trees as a family. These beauties are known as Magnolia Trees, and they produce a subtle, pleasant scent. Along with this, the trees are adorned with giant pinky white flowers. They are truly a sight to behold!
While we were there, my husband wanted to take a few photos of our girls. Unfortunately, our oldest wasn't really feeling up to it, but our youngest was all for it! 😂 Some great photos were taken, of which I will share here!:

Meet Riley! 😊 She is soon to turn 3-years-old -- this upcoming June, in fact! Her favorite color is yellow, and her favorite food is tomatoes (you don't need to tell me -- we got lucky with that one! 😂).

She did great during this photoshoot! 🙏 Recently she has been very cranky and upset (which we think is most likely due to a growth spurt), but today she was in one of her famous Smiley Riley moods.

We even got lucky with her posing! 😄 Normally she just stands and takes the picture, but today Riley was feeling exceptionally zany.

This photo is my absolute favorite -- it looks like she's balling! 🏀 You know when the player goes to swish and flick the ball into the hoop? It looks like Riley is doing that here 😂

This one: looking back at it 😳 Do not ask! I did not teach her these things, and most importantly, I was not even within shot while she was taking these. These poses were completely of her own doing 😄

This one is great as well. Very Captain Morgan -esque, with her hands proudly upon her hips, looking out at the endless sea in front of her...

A couple of all of us together 👨👩👧👧 Our oldest sat in the car while I drove her around to look at the trees. Of course, another great pose, courtesy of Riley 😄

It really was a wonderful day to be out and enjoying nature. We've been having a cold winter this spring, and even as we have entered May, we are still experiencing only 7 degree Celcius weather... This day happened to be a tiny bit more temperate.

Here is one of Riley later on during the walk. We happened to encounter a squirrel, and she wanted to feed him some of the bird feed we had brought along. This squirrel was so docile, he even went so far as to nibble on her fingers! 😂
