Today I want to share with you my experience exploring and shopping in one of the most famous stores in my country called EPA, it is one of those huge chain stores that specialize in selling hardware items but also everything you need to build or remodel a home, however this store goes far beyond that and they also sell products for gardening, for cars and pets. I like the format they handle because it is like a huge warehouse full of aisles, but all of them are properly identified so you know where to look for everything, they also have sales consultants who can help you find exactly what you need and give you valuable advice. However on this occasion my experience with them was not good at all because they did not know how to explain to me where I was looking for what I was looking for at that moment, or which was the best tool to fit my needs.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia al explorar y comprar en una de las tiendas más famosas de mi país llamada EPA, es una de esas enormes tiendas de cadena que se especializan en vender artículos de ferretería pero también todo lo necesario para construir o remodelar un hogar, sin embargo esta tienda va mucho más allá de eso y también venden productos para jardinería, para autos y mascotas. Me gusta el formato que maneja porque es como un enorme almacén lleno de pasillos, pero todos ellos están debidamente identificados para que sepas donde buscar cada cosa, además también cuentan con asesores de ventas que te pueden ayudar a buscar exactamente lo que necesitas y te dan valiosos consejos. No obstante en esta ocasión mi experiencia con ellos no fue buena del todo porque no supieron explicarme donde estaba lo que yo estaba buscando en ese momento, o cual era la herramienta más indicada que se ajustara a mis necesidades.

It had to be like that one, threaded because the nuts are in places that are a bit inaccessible, so not just any wrench will do.

Lo que yo necesitaba específicamente era una llame milimétrica de número 9 o 10, la cuál me serviría para para cambiar el asiento de mi bicimoto por el cajón que trae para guardar cosas, normalmente uso la que me presta mi vecino para hacer eso, pero creo que llegó el momento de comprar una para mi y así no tener que molestarlo a él, pero por más que busqué no logré conseguir una llave parecida a esa que mi vecino suele prestarme y que me resulta tan útil. Debía como esa, en forma de rosca porque las tuercas están en lugares un poco inaccesibles, así que no le sirve cualquier llave.

But a gentleman who was there in the store and overheard the conversation I was having with my sister at the time came to my rescue and took me to the area of the store where they had other tools, it is a special screwdriver that comes with several bits, among them some attachments that can fulfill the specific function I was looking for, He told me that his daughter has one of those and that it serves her perfectly well for that purpose (unscrewing or tightening nuts to change the seat of her moped). Obviously it is more than what I was looking for but I decided to buy it anyway because these tools are never superfluous and could prove to be very useful.
Pero un señor que estaba allí en la tienda y escuchó la conversación que yo tenía con mi hermana en ese momento acudió a mi rescate y me llevó a la zona de la tienda donde tenían otras herramientas, se trata de un destornillador especial que viene con varias puntas, entre ellas algunos accesorios que pueden cumplir la función específica que yo estaba buscando, él me dijo que su hija tiene uno de esos y que le sirve perfectamente para ese fin (Desenroscar o apretar las tuercas para cambiar el asiento de su bicimoto) Obviamente es más de lo que yo estaba buscando pero decidí comprarlo de todos modos porque nunca están de más estas herramientas que podrían resultar muy útiles.

As you can see it is a handle with a holder in which you can embed all the bits contained in the box, with which you can get several types of screwdriver (blade, spline etc) and also has other parts for nuts and bolts. The cost was 10 $ which seems to me a reasonable price, so I left very satisfied with my purchase. That's why I really like this store, because it's so big and versatile that you always get what you are looking for, no matter how big or small it is, there are many options 😃.
Como ustedes pueden ver es un mango con un soporte en el cual se pueden incrustar todas las puntas que contiene la caja, con lo cual puedes obtener varios tipos de destornillador (de pala, de estrías etc) además también tiene otras piezas para tuercas y tornillos. El costo fue de 10 $ lo cuál me parece un precio razonable, así que me fui muy satisfecha con mi compra. Por eso me gusta mucho esta tienda, porque es tan grande y versátil que siempre consigues lo que buscas, no importan que tan grande o pequeño sea, hay muchas opciones 😃.
