Treatise on War with Weeds.
I think that everyone is familiar with the main theses and wise sayings of Sun Tzu, who wrote the Treatise on War, which was used, extracting much benefit from it, by many commanders.
But, probably, this treatise was written about those wars that once began and, one day, they had to end.
And there are wars that do not know their beginning and, in all likelihood, they will never have an end and this is the war of a man, a gardener with weeds, which appears in the garden immediately after you clear the beds of weeds.
Yes, there are some methods that help reduce the amount of weeds and among them there are gentle methods, such as mulching the soil, planting green manure and weeding, as well as toxic methods, such as treating the soil with herbicides.
But, from what I know about it, everything has its pros and cons.
For example, many gardeners complain that mulching the soil leads to the fact that under the mulch there is a breeding ground for mice, which destroy the crop.
The latest war technology that I learned about is the permaculture method, when weeds are allowed to grow as much as they need, next to cultivated plants.
A strange method, but it reminds me of the lines from Trakia about war: If you sit on the river bank for a long time, you can see the corpse of your enemy floating by.
I'm not sure that this will work, there will be more and more weeds every day.
