Freshers finding it hard to land on a Job

in LeoFinance10 days ago

I see a lot of people getting passed out from their college but haven't been placed in any company. The demand for jobs is always a gamble. Sometimes the market is very good, and sometimes the market is very bad, and it is hard to find a new job based on our needs and requirements. Freshers who are just out of college are usually confused, and they also don't know what to decide when it comes to a job.

Some people want to take up a job in the same stream that they have studied and for some people it can be hard to do that, so they land in a job that is not related to their academic qualifications.

AI is confusing the companies

There is a huge need for AI Engineers right now, and this will continue to increase in the future too. The main reason is that for another few years at least AI is going to rule the IT industry. The potential of AI is enormous. People can easily do many things now with the help of AI which would have been a painful thing in the past. This is a new era of revolution. There is no doubt about it, but AI is still confusing companies. Many companies are also confused about whether to increase their headcount or not.

One thing is sure that many companies have already started doing some research work in doing automations to find out if AI can replace some of the existing jobs. I speak to many people, and they all say the same thing, and it is happening in many companies. If we have to survive in the IT industry it is important to focus on the skills that cannot be replaced by AI. There is also another opportunity where we can learn many AI tools and find jobs that use those AI tools.

Freshers have a tough time

Today it has become a mandatory requirement to know the basics of AI. It is important to learn and stay up to date with AI, and also know what it can do and what it cannot do. When freshers build their resume, they can add their knowledge on AI and AI tools. Though some companies have not made it possible for their employees to use AI, it does not mean that they are outdated. They internally are working with some AI tools to explore new opportunities, and for that, a fresh mind with that knowledge is also an essential thing.

If freshers are to land in the right job, it is important to have a unique skill set that can be upgraded and also cannot be replaced by AI.

A lot of people try and search a job for their study, but if they can't find it, they rather stay unoccupied than change type of job... It's also true that when school is over your can't change for an other high specific study

You are absolutely right. It's very difficult to find a job on our majors, so as an aid, we try to work for another options as well to survive or avoid the humanity's discrimination of being a graduate but doesn't have a job. When I study at college I really thought after graduation I can get a good job. But I was wrong because there's s lot to comply and it needs a lot of money to begin with. I also knew that not finishing college or just 72 units earner can apply a decent job. I saw my classmates only getting 72 units but they are in a decent job while me I'm continue studying. So it's not education after all. Self knowledge, hard work and perseverance can make you successful. I always had top on class but I haven't use it hahaha. It's so funny to think being so late to sleep at night to study and early wake up to catch the bus in order not to be late but everything was wasted because the job I have today is different from the degree I got.

It is absolutely true that the most difficult time after completing your studies is when you go to get a job, experience is demanded there. In this way, all the new people who complete their studies will never get a job in their life because if you get a job, you will have experience, but when you go to get a job, experience is demanded first.

industry getting tougher indeed. Securing a job in your field was already a difficult task due to a crowded market. New Job description demands that are AI incorporated will confuse many when they had little to no knowledge

The labor market keeps getting tougher everyday
Getting a job now is like one of the most difficult tasks…
Only the special or spectacular ones are usually lucky…

To remain relevant, freshers should focus on building skills that complement AI, such as critical thinking.

Learning AI tools and understanding their applications can give candidates a competitive edge.

I actually think the system is configured against the fresher. You need to have build a bit of experience before you thrive I strongly guess
