Ducks on city streets

Greetings friends
I have already told you that the company I work for moved to a new office in September. The office is located on the city's central street.
When winter began, snow appeared on the streets, and I saw a dozen ducks and pigeons on the sidewalk. They were sitting next to a small bakery. I thought it was funny. The pond near the circus, where the ducks live, is about 500 meters away.
I was wondering how these ducks found a new satisfying place for themselves. Literally every day, the number of birds near the bakery increased.
How does it work? The ducks conveyed information about the new place to their friends in their bird language, and some birds simply began to follow the first explorers.
And now the gang of beggars has more than 100 heads. But no one is fighting over food, everyone is calm.

It turned out to be a great mutually beneficial symbiosis of "birds-bakery". People go into the bakery, buy bread, and feed it to the birds. Children especially like to feed birds. If you look closely at the photo, you can see that there is a child in a green jacket standing between a woman and a man. Of course, they feed the ducks.
Birds appear in this place when it gets light outside and after dark, they fly back to the pond.

These ducks don't even know about the existence of the southern countries where they are supposed to fly to for the winter. Sometimes it seems to me that they even forgot how to find their food in the pond. They are already completely dependent on the person.

People should help the birds in winter. That's what I've been taught since I was a kid at school, but I think it's too much. The city administration must regulate the number of ducks on the pond and on the streets of the city.
