Hello everyone, happy afternoon. It's been raining here since early in the morning and the afternoon is very cold, it hasn't rained since Friday, so we were able to have a clear weekend. Yesterday finally came to an end the countdown that kept anxious all the sports population of El Tigre, and the public who wanted to enjoy the event, it was the CardioRun 2025 race. This event not only brought together independent runners and running clubs of the city, but also welcomed with pride and satisfaction competitors from many parts of the country.
To feel even more adrenaline at the sky level, this annual competition brings together runners, walkers, press, clubs and family supporting its participants, the team of creators, Policlinica Del Sur, doctors, nurses, presenters, entertainers, sponsors, and a stand of entrepreneurs offering their products.
It was really a wonderful weekend, from Saturday when the kits were collected for all those who were registered, which came with a T-shirt, keychain, chocolates, socks, wristbands, flag, a pass to a swimming pool in a club in the city, and the medal that was placed at the end of the competition.
On Sunday the appointment was at dawn, and before the first rays of sunlight the CardioRun team was already present on the stage waiting for the participants to start warming up. At 7 am the runners started, and 15 minutes later the walkers started. It was almost 2 hours of excitement on a route with a very pleasant atmosphere, excellent weather and the positive energy that prevailed in the environment... 10 kilometers for the runners and 5 kilometers for the walkers.
At the end of the competition, the emotion of meeting the group of friends and the team that supports us is indescribable. That we attended the competition in the company of the training group, was something very relevant, because it is not only exciting to share that moment with them, but they encourage us to improve and pass levels. The leader of Team Vida in this call was my daughter, who also represented several running clubs in the race, and for the CardioRun, she was one of the pacers, that is, guides that during the race indicate to the other runners the time they have for being their defined average.
When we reached the finish line, we received our medals, we had a snack, we danced, we celebrated our participation, but sadly a few minutes after mentioning the winners in the different categories, we were informed that one of the participating runners had felt ill during the competition, and in spite of the speed with which she was attended to and taken to the clinic, she died of a heart problem.
The lady had already participated in many races organized in the city, and this painful episode mourned yesterday the community of runners of El Tigre. A minute's silence was observed and the event cancelled other planned events out of respect for the athlete who had just passed away.

Hola a todos, feliz tarde. Por aquí está lloviendo desde temprano y la tarde está muy fría, no llovía desde el día viernes, así que pudimos pasar un fin de semana despejado. Ayer finalmente llegó a su fin la cuenta regresiva que mantuvo ansiosa a toda la población deportiva de El Tigre, y al público que quería disfrutar el evento, se trata de la carrera CardioRun 2025. Este evento no sólo reunió a corredores independientes y clubes de corredores de la ciudad, sino que recibió con orgullo y satisfacción a competidores de muchas partes del país.
Para sentir aún más la adrenalina a nivel cielo, esta competencia anual reúne a corredores, caminadores, prensa, clubes y familia apoyando a sus participantes, el equipo de los creadores, Policlínica Del Sur, médicos, enfermeros, presentadores, animadores, patrocinadores, y un stand de emprendedores ofreciendo sus productos.
Realmente se vivió un fin de semana maravilloso, desde el sábado que se retiraron los kits para todos los que estábamos inscritos, donde venía una franela, llavero, chocolates, medias, muñequeras, bandana, un pase a una piscinada en un club de la ciudad, y la medalla que nos colocaban al final de la competencia.
El domingo la cita era al amanecer, y antes de los primeros rayos de sol ya el equipo CardioRun estaba presente en tarima esperando a los participantes para comenzar el calentamiento. A las 7 am salieron los corredores, y 15 min después salieron los caminadores. Fueron casi 2 horas de emoción en una ruta con un ambiente muy agradable, un clima excelente y la energía positiva que imperaba en el entorno… 10 kilómetros los corredores y 5 kilómetros los caminadores.
Finalizada la competencia, la emoción de encontrar al grupo de amigos y al equipo que nos apoya es indescriptible. Que asistiéramos a la competencia en compañía del grupo de entrenamiento, fue algo muy relevante, porque no sólo es emocionante compartir ese momento con ellos, sino que nos animan a mejorar y pasar niveles. La líder del Team Vida en esta convocatoria fue mi hija, quien también representó en la carrera a varios clubes de corredores, y por la CardioRun, fue una de las pacers, o sea, guías que durante la carrera le indican a los demás corredores el tiempo que llevan por ser su promedio definido.
Al llegar a la meta, nos colocaron nuestras medallas, merendamos, bailamos, celebramos haber logrado participar, pero tristemente unos minutos después de mencionar a los ganadores en las diferentes categorías, nos comunicaron que una de las corredoras participantes se había sentido mal durante la competencia, y a pesar de la rapidez con la que fue atendida y llevada a la clínica, falleció por un problema en el corazón.
La señora ya había participado en muchas carreras convocadas en la ciudad, y este episodio tan doloroso, enlutó el día de ayer a la comunidad de corredores de El Tigre. Se hizo un minuto de silencio, y el evento suprimió otros espectáculos planificados, por respeto a la atleta que acababa de fallecer.
