New Battle Display
First I want to share about the new battle display. If you haven't play this game for few days, you might see that there is difference on the battle display. There is no character animation yet, but I see that the new battle display is faster and smoother.
Survival Mode is Coming !!
Splinterlands dev with their official post on https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@splinterlands/introducing-splinterlands-survival-mode has state that there will be a new league format beside the wild and modern, and it's named as survival mode !
This league will have the same SPS reward pool as the wild and modern format, but there is major different on this league :
#1.There is no energy just like on the wild and modern format. You might think like what the h*ll ? This will give advantage to bot (and bot is allowed) !! But wait, let's see the other explanation.
#2.When a card dies in a Survival mode battle, it will not be able to be used again in any battles for a period of time. Yes, this mean you should play it carefully, and you know what ? You can't even play those eliminated monsters on modern and wild league ! So you must wait for it to revive to be able to use them again !
#3.You can reduce the coldown by own more bcx of the cards! This will give another value for people to own more cards!
What is Your Strategy?
It's interesting how people would anticipate this league. If people are scared to lose cards, then fewer player will share the pool, which mean a much more rewards are possible to earn ! But we will always need to consider got our cards eliminated and can't be played for a long time of period (you can check the detail of the formula on the link above). I am think about using the cards when I used all my energy on modern league, but still, it's too risky because even the summoner are counted as loss when the team is losing. It's like all or nothing ! Get you best possible side to wipe all enemies with minimum death, or you might lose all your main cards for few days 😅
It is interesting to see how it goes, and how this might affect of the possible revive the smurf account again. This would lead a movement on the market price, especially the rent market. I wish it won't happens, cause I rent lot of cards to play on current gold modern league 😅
And one more things, I wish get easier enemies cause they lost their main summoner and monsters on survival mode 🤣
Conclussion
There is some updates on Splinterlands, from a battle display that been changed, and a major updates about a new league named survival mode, which cause massive impact on both standing league cause the cards eliminated on the survival mode are unable to be used on the modern and wild league.
