Ectobius pallidus is a species of cockroach which belongs to the ectobiidae family, the species is very easy to find in various habitats, including tropical and subtropical areas, in fact this species is more often found in urban areas, especially areas that have warm and humid climates, Ectobius pallidus has distinctive physical characteristics including a relatively small body size, with a body length reaching up to 1.5 cm, while the body color of Ectobius pallidus varies greatly, but brown is a relatively common color, but transparent colors like the one I found are a bit rare in current weather conditions.

Another interesting thing is that cockroaches of this species are included in a group of cockroaches that are relatively unobtrusive to humans when compared to other cockroach species which are larger in size and easy to find in the house, even though Ectobius pallidus is not known as a vector of dangerous diseases for humans. However, their presence in a damp environment can identify a sanitation or hygiene problem. These cockroaches tend to live in dark and hidden places, such as in bushes, piles of dry leaves, building crevices or other damp places.
