Back to Basics
I've been trying to get this report out since last night, but had struggled due to connectivity and power issues.
When did the typhoon #KristinePH (Trami) hit PH again? Was it Wednesday?! So given that I'm writing this Saturday report on a Sunday, it's been 5 days of being disconnected.
We sleep early these days, given the power outage. There's pretty much nothing else to do from sun down. So Saturday started early since we slept early the previous night. We got woken up by the sudden comeback of the electricity at about 4.00am, only to be disappointed again after only 30 minutes.
So I just got out and take this dirty pachuchay out to do his business.
After breakfast, and after confirming with friends and relatives from the other village that they got their power and water connections back, we decided to go there to charge our electronics. And yeah, take a bath too! 😅
Our phones are almost entirely just for flashlight ar night. For some reason, even the mobile connectivity went down with the power. We were cut out for 2 days!
My kids have already surrendered to the fact that the elecricity won't come back soon, and they found ways to entertain themselves, like catching the fire from the candle light. 😂
