But the challenges of deciding what to post (what I love vs. what is popular or may bring in more rewards) sometimes causes a lack of motivation. I decided to just create what I enjoy, short fiction and creating mixed media art projects.
I suppose that many of us got into that "trap", thinking that we can do "better" if we post something that is more "valuable" (I would say more upvoted but not more valuable) than to post what we like! I'm glad that you chose to go into a direction where you do what you like, as there is a place where you can "offer the most!" To help others, to inspire them, and to feel better as you did what you like...
Of course, we all have our bad days... The most important thing is that we can find that light that leads us back to the right path...
It's ridiculous to compare, but I will do it... It's like "investing" your time and money in certain tokens, and the price continues dropping... You get sad, demotivated, scared... But nothing changed with the token... The fundamentals are the same, strong... That's the light that keeps us going... The same as our work that we invested in sharing stuff that we like, that maybe helped others... That helps us to continue... as it is/was worth it!
