Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My current goal is 35k Hive.
Last week I bought or made 487.08, bringing me to 31,537.310 total Hive Power. That’s 90.1% of my goal!
Well, 100 of that is from the previous HPUD and 160 is from daily power-ups. But that leaves 227.08 made organically, and that’s nothing to complain about.
Math time. 35k - 31,537.310 gives us 3462.69. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 23.2 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point.
That 23.2 is down from 25.1 last week. Awesome! Without my daily power-ups, I am still a little below that, but with my daily power-ups, I do that easily.

BRO was still high this past week so I didn’t buy much. But PIMP, wow. I wonder why my earnings were so high last week? Oh well—I’ll take them.
I picked up a few RUG too, but nothing much.
Silver
The silver chart for last week:
Not too bad. Still under $30, but the second half of last week was interesting. I wonder if precious metals will have a good week here as all the other markets fall. We’ll find out!
And just as I loaded up the APMEX site to get that chart, they shoved this in my face with the big selling point that it is 52% of premiums.
Let’s see… 5oz times $28.66 gives us $143.3. They have them on sale for $154.35, which I suppose isn’t too bad. If I were in the US I might pick up one of these and a few coins to get that free shipping. If you like that idea, get it here.
