I know of a farm close by that has a giant rooster like the one you have! They are impossible, as you said, to ignore!
I have had 2 live roosters in my life. One was a rooster named Penelope! Yes, you read correctly! I got a batch of chicks that were all supposed to be hens. This one particular hen, seemed like it wanted to communicate with me. It would sit on my wrist and cock it's head back and forth as I spoke as if it understood! Well, she turned out to be a he and I'd already named him Penelope. I figured if Johnny Cash could sing about a boy named Sue, well then, my rooster's name could stand!
My second rooster was a massive guy. He was of the Barred Rock breed and big and beautiful! He too, had personality, and would talk chicken smack whenever I came by. I loved that bird, but unfortunately, the coyotes got him and a few other of my hens one night. It was the only time I granted both my sons permission to spend the night on the roof with guns to shoot to kill, should the coyotes return. Of course, they didn't.
Your rooster collection is awesome! Thank you for sharing sis and have a lovely day!🤗😘😍🌹🐓 !LADY !LUV !PIMP !BBH
