It was very bare bones, but I knew the project had a good future. Card games are one of the best niches to build on blockchain. It was easy to start with a bare bones game and keep building while keeping costs low. Imagine lasting this many bear markets with an FPS game or hero shooter. @splinterlands can manage to improve the game and operate it continuously with very little funding. This means we have a long runway to outlast other projects and find a way to onboard more users.
