Splinterlands Epic Battles And New Conflicts

in #splinterlands2 days ago

In the sweltering heart of the summer, the Splinterlands boiled with more than just heat! We had mystery, madness, and a pickle-fueled prophecy stirred beneath the surface. But old conflicts will resurface again... and we are summoned once again!

The battle lines are drawn once more. Welcome to the first-ever Conclave Arcana Conflict, another 30-day campaign where you’ll stake cards and packs, stack points, and earn exclusive airdropped rewards.

If you’ve played through Rebellion Conflicts, you’ll feel right at home... but this battlefield brings new mechanics, deeper strategy, and fresh card types. During the Conflict, stake your cards and packs to Battle Wagons and earn points based on what you commit.

When the dust settles, you’ll receive airdropped cards — including brand-new Conclave Arcana exclusives — based on your score. Any Mage Wagon, old or newly crafted, can join the fight. Each one carries up to five cards and 100 packs — Rebellion or Conclave Arcana!

The epic battles will have to wait... as I have to prepare the wagons! Only the Pickle keeps fighting! The battlefield was bleak! Noxious Fumes creeping in from the edges like silent assassins, and Close Range opening up lanes for risk and reward. The ruleset "Four's a Crowd" meant nothing here. This wasn’t a contest of numbers. It was a game of survival.

I didn’t need to dominate. I needed to outlast. And Yaba’s Pickle was the answer! They called it "Salty Support", but the Pickle had more bite than most brutes in armor. This time, I played it smart.

Everyone expected Prophet Rosa to serve up +2 Ranged—makes sense when Close Range is in play. But I brought no archers to the field. Instead, I gave Shield to my fermented friend. Yes. I blessed the Pickle.

Alongside her, my formation was a weird stew of synergy and salt:

  • Prophet Rosa, reduced to a meat shield, but still standing proud.
  • Endless Gibbon, a melee fighter with a ranged soul—futile against Thraghun, but brave nonetheless.
  • Daigendark Surveyor, throwing back magic with a mirror-glint stare.
  • Moxian Rebel, spreading Weapon Training like wildfire, turning even non-combatants into arcane artillery.

And then… the fumes rolled in. The Moxian fell. Thraghun collapsed. But the Pickle... glistening, brined, and battle-worn... held fast. She took the hit. She tanked the Excavator.

This little salty beast will do well in a War Wagon, as soon as he will finish this fight! This came quick.. and with a final, unexpected jab, she delivered the finishing blow. The arena went silent. It was a big dill. See the full battle here!

How are Conclave Arcana Conflicts working? Points are simple! The cards count for full collection power, Rebellion cards for half. Packs give flat values... 50 for Rebellion, 100 for CA Standard, 300 for Alchemy, and 600 for Legendary.

Need more wagons? Craft a Wagon Kit in the Artisan Quarter for 40K Wood, 10K Stone, 4K Iron, 2.5K Aura, or buy one with DEC or Credits — same as older editions. Kits are tradeable in the non-card market.

But there’s a twist... each airdropped card damages one of your wagons, which must be repaired before reuse. Doesn’t matter if the wagon was used... earn 40 cards, 40 wagons get damaged.

The rewards system? Every 100,000 points earns one entry. Each entry = 0.125% chance at the Conflict card, with a guaranteed drop after 800 entries. Earn 25 cards in a single Conflict and you’re guaranteed one Gold Foil. Use alchemy potions, and that guarantee drops to 13.

Potions boost your odds even further. Alchemy Potions double your Gold Foil rate (4% → 8%) and Midnight Potions double your Black Foil odds (0.1% → 0.2%). Each boost costs 50 potions per card. I think is worth it!

At the end of each Conflict, one Black Foil Arcane and five Gold Foil Arcane cards are added to the Conclave Arcana Jackpot, making them pullable from packs. Between Conflicts, a Preparation Phase gives you time to regroup, repair, and plan your next move.

Gear up, stake smart, and get ready for glory! The Conclave Arcana Conflict has begun! To recap key numbers:

  • Gold Foil chance = 4% base... 8% with Alchemy
  • Black Foil chance = 0.1% base... 0.2% with Midnight
  • One entry per 100K points
  • 0.125% chance per entry... guaranteed at 800
  • Gold Foil guarantee = 25 cards... or 13 with potions.
